Heard about this Thai place in town so we went there for lunch. First: It was good. Second, it was nothing I can't or haven't made myself at home many times as a quick mid-week throw-together. Coworkers went there yesterday and it smelled good and she says "I love their food!" and she goes there a couple times a month, so I figured it was reasonable. Come to find out her meaty-meat entree and two spring rolls cost her $44 yesterday. I didn't hear that part. Not a fancy place either. Curt snippy service that got more curt when we said we were going to split a plate.

I'm not one to post negative stuff on Yelp but I really don't care if they make it or not.

Left over Ohio Goetta, Ohio hickory cured bacon, scrambled eggs with quinoa and an English Muffin with butter.
Washed down with Diet Pepsi.

Chili dogs, salad, chips, lemonade, raspberry/chocolate pie with ice cream.

Payday isn't until next week so I had to make do with what I had: popcorn, a hard boiled egg and applesauce. That's all the food groups, right?

It was the annual "employee appreciation day" on campus, so I had a nice varied lunch with small portions of pulled pork BBQ (sans bun), cole slaw, baked beans, mac n cheese, green beans and salad. Skipped dessert, which was a mistake as I understand there was chocolate cake.

Leftover homemade Mongolian beef, with a wee bit of rice.

Hard tack rye crisp and rice cakes dipped in "Smart butter". Couple bites of gouda block cheese and cold steamed skinless chicken. mmmmm not bad.
