My mom did it but she did live in Chicago for quite a while.  I probably still have the pans around here somewhere in one of the boxes of stuff I have no use for but can't throw away.

we never had one in OUR house, but my ex husband's family had one every year...and lots of my friends had one every year...so, it was odd to me that schlabby had NEVER heard of it, nor ever seen one....so....i was curious.
