Encore, for the Norwegian Curlers and Their Pants

At least they know they look silly unlike some of the other country's official uniforms.

It will be Freemantle's (West coast seaport) first grand final in Australian Rules Footy against the Hawthorne Hawks.  You would be a fool to think Hawthorne would lose, but it could happen.  Freemantle is playing well.  The fledgling Hawks won the the Victorian Football League premiership against the Cats.

I'm sure you will be on the edge of your seats until I post the results of the AFL final...

Well, North Melbourne and 3 other clubs have a chance of making it to the finals, thanks to Essendon being dropped to 9th place in a drug scandal.  But what's the problem with doping the players up, not to mention running an experimental drug program, unknown to the players and giving the data to some quack doctor doing the research?  I'm saddened and somewhat amused that giving the coach a year's suspension is seen as fair punishment by the league.  He of course says he is being made a scapegoat.  But I digress...

So, one more match that might have some meaning, depending on the earlier ones.  Oh how we like to hang on faint hope...

The Kanga's win a good one against the second-place Geelong Cats.{#Dancingbanana}

Sometime I may be there when they win.

Kangaroos lose by less than a goal again, basically ending their Australian Rule Footy season.

Queensland won the State of Origin Rugby League series again.  But the finest physique of the final match belonged to the streaker.

Mark Cavendish is an amazing sprinter but he completely shoulder-checked Veelers.    Needless to say, he and the British press are claiming differently.

Yes a good balance. Not many behinds would usually mean they aren''t trying difficult kicks.  A lot of behinds and not many goals means they can't kick to save their lives.

This week was a nice win against the Richmond Tigers who are well above them on the 'ladder'.

Kangaroos 19.14.128
Tigers 8.18.66

Geelong beat Hawthorne again, which is always good.

That's sweet fuck-all to you...

They won last week but that was against the new Greater Western Sidney side so it would have been a major catastrophe if they lost. Still it was a blow-out.

North Melbourne: 19.16.130
GWS                    6.8.44

They play Richmond this afternoon.

What are the latest 'Roos scores?
