Remember Cowboy Curtis telling Pee Wee that cowboys had a dance they do when happy. Pee Wee: If you show me yours, I'll show you mine!

Or Floory telling Miss Yvonne "Stand on me, Miss Yvonne." And she gives him a sly smile but doesn't.

I always thought the scene with PW and Cowboy Curtis roasting hot dogs was almost R rated with all the bizarre innuendo. I wish I could find YT video but no luck.

Bada boom! Please tip your waitresses and bartenders; they work hard so you don't have to!{#Lol} Seriously though, I think Paul Reubens is tremendously talented; Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a very good movie too!{#Clap}

I read an article about the incident not long ago. Apparently the cops raided the place, and just arrested everybody in the joint, no matter what. His attorney(s) told him he should just plead no contest or whatever, and let it go without creating a media circus. He would have been better off fighting it. The cops basically had no evidence against him, they had just swept up everybody in the joint. He got railroaded.

Of course, he probably should not have been in one of 'those' places to begin with, but they are perfectly legal after all.

He made his comeback a long time ago, though. And he's still finding a lot of success with the PWH franchise - even a broadway version.

Here's one that flew under the radar...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakersfield_P.D.

This was a very short lived classic.

Yes, I only watched some of those (later) shows if it was raining outside or if I were sick.

I concur. There is wide speculation that the show's name originated from "stuff."  In any event, it was kind of a cool show—-I was so little I just barely remember the details. I just remember liking it.
