Not fabulous lyrics.  But this is the Allman Brothers...

Seven turns on the highway,
Seven rivers to cross.
Sometimes, you feel like you could fly away,
Sometimes, you get lost.

And sometimes, in the darkened night,
You see the crossroad sign.
One way is the mornin light,
You got to make up your mind.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waiting for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.
Hey, yeah.

Runnin wild out on the road,
Just like a leaf on the wind.
How in the world could you ever know,
We'd ever meet again?

Seven turns on the highway,
Seven rivers to cross.
Sometimes, you feel like you could fly away,
Sometimes, you get lost.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Love is all that remains the same,
That's what it's all comin to.

Somebody's callin your name.
Somebody's waitin for you.
Somebody's callin your name.
That's what it's all coming to.

My father didn't have the Allman Brothers.  He was in the era of The Platters and the Andrews Sisters.  And this track is *still* my All Bros, it's just not Whipping Post or Jessica.
We got a PSD button.
I hereby submit a formal request for PTA button.  Play That Again.
These are not your father's Allman Brothers.
Please let it stop.
Thank you Bill, what a nice change from the Fillmore shows you like to share with us. Amazing that Dickey is the soul survivor.

A guy I used to work with played keys for a Allman Tribute band call Seven Turns. They were out of Long Island.
and it only gets a 6? nothing the allman brothers did that i've heard warrants such disdain
Wow.  I remember hearing this song before, back in the 1990s sometime, and being very impressed by it. Hearing it again, for the first time in 20 years, it sounds wonderful.  Truly a great song.
Another first time on RP.
My bad. I'm a big Allman Bros. fan.
It's not up to their usual superlative. Country pop, but that guitar and class production wins the day.
I'm a gonna cue up a 7.
Miss you, Brothers. You were the best!
