It's only been a week
The rush of being home in rapid fading
The failing to recall
What I was missing all that time in England
Has sent me aimlessly
On foot or by the help of transportation
To knock on windows where
My friend no longer live, I had forgotten
And everywhere I go
There's always something to remind me
Of another place in time
Where love that travelled far had found me
We stayed outside till two
Waiting for the light to come back
We didn't talk I knew
Until you asked what I was thinking
Until you asked what I was thinking
Brave men tell the truth
A wise man's tools are analogies and puzzles
A woman holds her tongue
Knowing silence will speak for her
Brave men tell the truth
A wise man's tools are analogies and puzzles
A woman holds her tongue
Knowing silence will speak for her
Will speak for her
And everywhere I go
There's always something to remind me
Of another place in time
Where love that travelled far had found me
The rush of being home in rapid fading
The failing to recall
What I was missing all that time in England
Has sent me aimlessly

cave men rule!
Please spare me this dribble....hate the caveman, hate the inuendo...
yeah.....don't care for the song....don't care for the caveman promotion for Geico....but I gotta tell you, I've had Geico Ins. for a few years, been in 2 accidents....and they are WAY better then any other Ins. Company i ever used.
Not trying to advertise for Geico or anything....just saying.....
The music video is awesome. Need more metadata!
Royskopp, a sound so simple even a metrosexual caveman can love it
I love this song...and anything with jazz hands.

Was this just in a Geico commerical?
Yes it was. And my husband and I both think it sounds better in the commercial than on the CD.
I thought this was the geico commercial!

Video is kinda cool though...
I hate this song.
Music to have an existential meltdown by...
thou shalt do the dance!
This is cool
I don't think this song needed a remix.

Brilliant! Just what I needed working on school work tonight...
This song reminds me of Men at Work, can't think of which song so this school stuff must be working...
Yes! When I heard this I thought, I have heard this before and have really liked it! AND, when I see that Ad, I wonder, WHO IS THAT!?
The Ad Agency's team that thought up that Campaign was genius. Cheers!

Caveman pron! Oh, I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that! Thanks for the much-needed laugh, jenakle!
Why does the song sound better in the commercial than on the CD and on RP?
There's quite a few versions (remixes, etc.) of the song, I suspect. I know a couple of them.

What is it with people actually LIKING the f***ing cavemen from those painfully stupid commercials? I wish you would all just drive off a cliff.
Your hostility is pretty, well, primitive...
I never thought of this until someone mentioned it, but it does sound like a porn soundtrack.
more royksopp please!

Sorry.
Why does this turn into a bad porn soundtrack?

The idea of a tv comedy based on insurance company neanderthals is very scary indeed.
I love song, I love the commercial, it's all good.
And it's rare to see a commercial where no one actually speaks and yet you still remember it and totally get the message.
ahhh... the power of advertising.
everytime i see that darn GEICO ad, and hear this song, it rattles around in my head for days. now that i have heard the whole tune, i kinda like it.
maybe it will be the theme song on the TV show they plan on making with our favorite cavemen. who knew?

It's a gimmick. I predict early cancellation.
Remember that The Simpsons was a 30 second afterthought on the Tracy Ullman show. 15 years later...
So easy a cave man can do it. Damn. This is pretty good, but all I can think of is the Geico commercial. Goes to show that selling out does indeed reduce the impact of music as art.

Edit: WOW that commercial has REALLY captured its demographic... in less than 30 seconds 4 comments.
either by love or hate
or maybe its just a catchy tune everyone's been wondering about
love the cavemen.
don't you think they listen to RP?
A great album...
The Geico commercial with this song is one of a very few commercials that I enjoy enough to not TiVo over. I always stop to watch it so I can listen to the music.

The song is nice, though...
exactly what I was going to come say
Geckos 4 Lyfe!
*busts out some gang-geico-gecko signs*

Too bad the Geico commercial has almost ruined it.
Funny that we even recognized it.
If you go to the Caveman's Crib, he has it on his ipod also.

I was kind of curious what song this was.

Isn't this currently being used in one of those GEICO caveman commercials? Cool... I was caught by it the first time I heard it and now I know... the rest of the story :)
