I wouldn't be a liar
No, I wouldn't be a liar
If I told you that
I wouldn't be a liar

When things are all you think of
And plans are all you make
And thoughts are all you dream of
Your falls are all you take

Look out, the world's destroying you
Relax, it isn't fair
Mother nature's disposition
She don't mind, she don't care

She don't mind, she don't care

I wouldn't be a liar
No, I wouldn't be a liar
If I told you that
I wouldn't be a liar

Passing over, passions pour
Passing everything

I would only be a liar
No, I would only be a liar
If I told you that

It takes up all of your life
These decisions you make
It takes up all of a day
Making them all

Well, outside on the patio
The piano's weeping too
Forget about it all for a little while
She don't mind, she don't care

She don't mind, she don't care
She don't mind, she don't care

And I wouldn't be a liar
No, I wouldn't be a liar
If I told you that
I wouldn't be a liar

You see, it seems minor to me
You see, it seems minor to me
You see, it seems minor to me
You see, it seems minor

Earthquakes, Floods, Hurricanes,Volcanoes, Locusts.... Humankind can beg for mercy/pray to whomever all they want, but...

Just an epic lyric.
Wow this DOES go perfectly with Right In Time by Lucinda.  Unexpected but apt segue.
Like it but the verse cadence and tune immediately called to mind "Fade Into You"

Well the lady don't mind.
No, no, no, the lady don't mind

I doesn't mind subpar grammar.
i'd like to hear some bob mould or sugar.

I agree in a broader sense we suffer from a self-inflicted wound but is it right to blame great men - whether you believe Trump or Biden to be winner or loser? Aren't they a reflection of the culture that bred them? If you're American, what does that say about us? About you?

Typical gopper deflection. All humans lie, presidents included, duh. Question is how much lying you're willing to blatantly ignore.

"The Washington Post said in January 2020 that Trump had made more than 16,241 false or misleading claims as president, an average of about 14.8 such statements per day. The Toronto Star which said that, as of May 2019, Trump had made 5,276 false statements since his inauguration." Source

...and now back to our regular scheduled programming.

No worries. Appreciate the sentiment.
Indeed comrade. Totally equivalent. Nice work.

Ha ha.  Not so, surely you jest.
Yes! and, Hell, yeah, they are! Three lead guitars, contagious energy, plenty of rebellion & JAM! ——  einsteinstoe wrote:

Yes, it's an intriguing illustration, done with ballpoint pen by an artist named Mike Scheer.  That image is apparently titled "Three-dimensional ant wearing grass skirt and two-dimensional worm deriving sustenance in the form of electromagnetic energy from an inter-dimensional electrostatic penetration and transport device. (A human insect is attracted to the location as a result of the ionic particles in the air surrounding the device.)"
Good tune as well.

Well anyone could have guessed that.

{#Whipit}
Reminds me of The The from about 1980.

Perhaps we should have Commander Data sing it?

Liking! They have that "Laurel Canyon" sound... like Dawes, Neil Young et al. At least on this track.

What are you guys talking about? It's a great cover... one of the best I have seen in a long time. Every time I pass this CD around, the first comment is always "Wow, cool cover".
Its not the art that I REALLY dislike, it is the layout with the maroon border framing the b&w art and two different, yet equally lame fonts in the upper left, lower right format that seems very dated. I actually like this band a lot. Their previous albums had artwork that looked much more developed and thought out. Even back to 1997's Perfect From Now On.
This is a gooder, no doubt
Uhhh, I think they are from Boise, Idaho... have another! brewmonkey wrote:

The last few songs have the quality of a long run-on sentence. Ya know, you stop caring halfway though. C'mon guys, throw us a bone here, some good tunes!!
