I forget, my mistake—what was the title of the bestselling CD that featured you blazing away Beck-like on lead guitar?
Yes, I second the reply to the snooty snark of wiseking. Which Santana bad? Because I've heard some Santana that's a lot less compelling than other, but seldom so-said bad, and I can list 20 - 30 cuts which may prove the opposite of 'hackneyed.'
Anyway, the cut seems to have a more than passing resemblance to Roy Buchanan. Which is not bad, to any hackneyed ears.

Agreed.
So tired of his sanctimonious whining.
OK, wiseking.

I particularly like The Snow Goose CD probably because of the RP introductions to this song and Rhayader.
Thanks!!!
Well, if you compare the Camel logo with the image on the album, they are identical:
If they had no connection with the company, I'm surprised they didn't get sued for trademark infringement.

Elvis Presley
Kiss me quick, while we still have this feeling
Hold me close and never let me go
'Cause tomorrows can be so uncertain
Love can fly and leave just hurting
Kiss me quick because I love you so
Kiss me quick and make my heart go crazy
Sigh that sigh and whisper oh so low
Tell me that tonight will last forever
Say that you will leave me never
Kiss me quick because I love you so
Let the band keep playing while we are swaying
Let's keep on praying that we'll never stop
Kiss me quick just can't stand this waiting
'Cause your lips are lips I long to know
Oh that kiss will open heaven's door
And we'll stay there forevermore
Kiss me quick because I love you so
Let the band keep playing while we are swaying
Let's keep on praying that we'll never stop
Kiss me quick just can't stand this waiting
'Cause your lips are lips I long to know
Oh that kiss will open heaven's door
And we'll stay there forevermore
Kiss me quick because I love you so

More camel svp.
P.S. I hear something a tad similar to that band from the Netherlands called Focus. Focus was a one-hit wonder. I'm thinking of the Focus that did not get wide airplay.
Jan Ackerman was fantastic in that band!
It was - though apparently Gallico was vehemently anti-smoking and refused to have anything to do with this album, thinking the band were tied in with the tobacco company - he even threatened legal action which is the reason the cover says "Music inspired by...."

That was some 25 years ago :-)
Thank you for playing this now - I must have not heard this in some 15+ years.

which is not understood the "complex" of RP not to play this song in the totality....beyond that it is a respect lack stops with the authors (the same it happens in J.S. Bach - Toccata in D minor) - 8.
note: excuse me to the audience if the commentaries are not fit in the mentality of " hip-hop-generation"....

That, and your trademark blue text.
I imagine that I am not the first member on the site who has deduced that "calypsus_1" writes his or her comments in Spanish (or another non-English language) and then runs them through some sort of translation program which creates those garbled fragments. Sometimes randomly-translated passages can be amusing, other times - not so much. As for the distinctive blue text, um.....
No, but that would be a nice addition here too.
We want more Camel tunes. Lady Fantasy would be just perfect. It hasn't been played for ages.
Excellent stuff. In fact, I think I'll pop in both discs from Echoes right now.
Any relation to Frampton's Camel?

I've not heard this for 30 years - the hair is standing up on the back of my neck!
Thank you
No problem with that, westslope. There actually is quite some Camel on RP which is hardly ever played. Still you can click on one of the affiliate links and buy the album thereby both helping RP and Camel ( and the record company )
More Camel, please!
JK
First time I hear Camel on RP!
This is a GREAT band
Thank you Bill!
