EXCELLENT!! Thanx RP!
Very nice to listen to this track at this time of the morning, fond memories of life in Spain.🇪🇸
It's . . . huh. It's still going.
Now this is why I listen to radio paradise, hidden gems like this off the beaten path
Sounds similar to the descending chord progression in Stairway to Heaven.
Such pure magic. Thank you RP
This was a cool groove for the first 3 minutes. Ready to move on.
Ah, the Andalusian chord progression. When you want to write a dramatic-sounding song, but don't feel like putting in the effort.

We have been fans of Willy and Lobo since 1995 after hearing them at Mama Mia's in PV. Bought our condo there the same year and have been buying their records and attending their concerts ever since. I also found the book Puerto Vallarta Squeeze on a remnant bookshelf later. They have provided many memorable evenings sitting on our terrace looking at the sun set over the water, drinking tequila and listening to them.
Perfect "mind's eye" scene for definition of ...."Tranquility"! ✌️ God bless pankman wrote:

I did go 7→8 on this today, it really "rocks" at the end, and cool album art Long Live RP!!

Wow, was that irritating! I kept waiting for the piece to get going, to do their version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" but it never did. I like the song even less than the first time I heard it.
Great song!
Excellente
🔥 Very hot very sexy. Congrats on cover artwork capturing mood so well.

Anyone know if the album cover art work is a painting?

Wow, today I had this on speakers (versus headphones) and turned it way UP and I immediately realized it was not a "7" (the score I gave it last time it played) but totally an "8"!

Saw these guys, by accident, in Puerto Vallerta at the River Cafe' about 12 to 15 years ago with then-girlfriend-now-wife... still stands out as single most amazing live performance i've ever seen and most romantic (movie-like) moment i've ever had. We've seen them at least 6 times since and they never fail to deliver an excellent performance. Totally original and beautiful music. They have 6 or 7 discs. they're all great. If you can find the live one, get it.
Loved that book.
Love it. Love it. Love it.
I have nothing clever to say. Just that.

I keep waiting for the lonesome horn....c'mon!!!
Still great, anyway.
SWEET!
A hot summer evening downtown... perfect.
Sounds like something from Cirque du Soliel. Definately an image provolking piece. I'd be more than happy to hear this again soon.
Really quite excellent. I'm liking everything I hear from W&L.
This is an example of the diversity of music that RP plays that makes this station great!!!!
Great music!!! Standing ovation!
this is really good....thanks
What a great way to wake up!
Hey, when my daughter was about three, she used to nap to PIL. She could also yodel and yelp right along with them when awake. I, too, can sleep through a concert. Can be a rather pricey nap.

This I like.

Im liking it too, you can really feel the emotions pouring into the instruments.
kinda diggin this
I am such a slave to instrumentals. Huzzah!
great song and and amazing players...
I like instrumentals included in the musical sets; makes for nice segues.
shayde wrote:
This is masterful. The commenter 'how many times have we seen this'? Cmon, yes it's a spanish rhythm, fast talented guitar... but isn't that just like a blues progression? Sure it's been done before, but that's like saying "How many times can we hear a guitar play." - it's not the instrument, it's how it's played. In this case, it's not the style, it's how it's played.
Well put!
