I'm playing RP Rabbit trail tonight and this is a doozy. 
Killed by a speedboat driven too fast, in a restricted area by a controversial figure in Mexico, either a supermarket magnate or his deck hand, depending on who you believe, but in either case: if you plead guilty to homicide in Mexico you can buy your way out of it for a little more than $2k US. I guess .. think twice before going to Mexico.

just looked it up It was a song by a Porto Rican American Jazz Artist that goes by the name of  Willie Bobo the tracks name is Spanish grease.
Guajira is a very common Cuban term so it may have been taken from something else though

I like to think of myself as a free spirited globe trotter type;But Kirsty's story often comes back to me when I'm tempted to throw caution to the wind and just go for it. That didn't stop some guy in a sailboat from running over me doing the backstroke in southern Brasil. (No major damage) The lesson ? .....  Perhaps "Always, wear the correct footware" or When your not in your element,Remember Your not in your element.
