Brother finds trouble on the street
A piece of rock to make men weak
Trembling eyes at everyone he meets
Sister holds her baby in the bed
Dreams and wishes dancin' in her head
A love forever is what he said
That's what he said
Father leans back in his easy chair
A pint of whiskey, he just sits and stares
He don't know and he doesn't really care
Mother works at her nine to five
Hardly makes enough to keep alive
She bows her head with tears in her eyes
Thank you Lord for another day
Help my brother along his way
And please bring peace to the Neighborhood
Grant us all peace and serenity
They're just songs sung on a dirty street
Echoes of hope lie beneath their feet
Struggling hard to make ends meet
Thank you Lord for another day
Help my brother along his way
And please bring peace to the Neighborhood
Thank you Lord for another day
Help my brother along his way
And please bring peace to the Neighborhood
To the neighborhood, to the neighborhood, to the neighborhood

Does Los Lobos fund Bill's SuperPac?

Is the lead singer married to his sister?

Good band, good musician's, C-Minus songwriting skills.

BORING, BORING, BORING!

Listen to that ending. Nothing here that hasn't been done eight-seven million times before.....

They've been at this for 48 years and their songwriting skill are incredible as is their musicianship. There's been NO band with such a long and CONSITENT quality of output, ever. Think about it. The Stones have wallowed in mediocrity for decades. Go listen to their latest album and compare it to any others. They all hold up.

One of the most ridiculous comments I've ever seen here and I've been listening for over 15 years

See, I psd'd and got to a track from the Stones album Bridges to Babylon. And when it was over, RP segued to this. And THIS is what the Stones should have sounded like. Audio cojones without the affectation, off-key singing and pretension.
