The advantage of being in high places
Is that you never have to look up

The advantage of being in high places
Is that you never have to look up

And you feel like a big shot
It makes you feel like a big shot
It makes you feel like a big shot
Makes you feel like a real big shot

The advantage of being in high places
Is that people look so small

The advantage of being in high places
Is that people look so small

And you feel like a big shot
It makes you feel like a big shot
It makes you feel like a big shot
Makes you feel like a real big shot

The trouble with being in high places
Is when you fall it's a long way down

The trouble with being in high places
Is when you fall it's a long way down

The trouble with being in high places
The trouble with being in high places
The trouble with being in high places

The trouble with being in high places
Is when you're down nobody picks you up

The trouble with being in high places
Is when you're down nobody picks you up

Cuz you acted like a big shot
So what happened to the big shot
So what happened to the big shot
You thunk you were a real big shot

The trouble with being in high places
The trouble with being in high places
The trouble with being in high places
The trouble with being in high places

Seen these guys live three times in the past year.  I HIGHLY recommend checking them out if you like their music.  The last time I saw them they lit the place on fire with this song.
Interesting, but is this THE Los Lobos?  Of "Kiko" et al?  Vive la différence!

This song makes me wonder—will we ever, ever hear The Black Keys on RP?

Yes, yes we will. We did, and will continue to hear them.  :-)
This album appeared on Tom Waits list of top (10?) Cd's -for inspiration

Love it when they go to the rowdy jam stuff
awesome groove

Jeez Louise! 6.2? Really?

You could cook an egg on this groove.

+1

I hate to say it, but this is a welcome change from the recent gospel and whiny grove here recently.

In fact, today has been awesome.
Jeez Louise! 6.2? Really?

You could cook an egg on this groove.

Not my favorite either.  But its still Los Lobos, and therefore still good.
Funkay!!
Damn Good!
A slid rock song!
Los Lobos never ceases to amaze me. Too bad most people only recognize them as "that La Bamba Band" all these years later.
Kind of noisy. Not my favorite Los Lobos.
still a 1.

Yes, I'm with you.

Great (as always)! {#Drummer}{#Bananajam}
Dunno, I'm thinking about Lenny Kravitz.
Why do I think of Doyle Bramhall II every time I hear this {#Think}

Wow, the voice sounded slightly familiar, but because of the style I couldn't place it.  Bravo Los Lobos, keep it fresh. 7

thought this was Pat Traveres for a minute. Boom boom out got the lights
Traffic meets the Average White Band — excellent stuff!
The beat of this song makes me feel very anxious. Do not like.

No salt or Lemon needed
