They say everything can be replaced
Yet every distance is not near
So I remember every face
Of every man who put me here
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

They say every man needs protection
They say every man must fall
Yet I swear I see my reflection
Some place so high above this wall
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

Standing next to me in this lonely crowd
Is a man who swears he’s not to blame
All day long I hear him shout so loud
Crying out that he was framed
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

I just cant get past their wiki page....WOW and I mean WOW! I am just glad they have discovered so much and are happy to share it with us all.
Whoever wrote their artist's blurb, sure believe these ladies are the second coming....it's a more than a bit over the top....

"seamlessly interweaves", "uniqueness lies in their nonconformity", "musical force", "dedication to leveraging their art", "pivotal moments in their artistic maturation", "steadfast autonomy"

Like,  c'mon...nice recording of this, but not really all that special nor do I think that they'll be entering any sort of HOF at any time.  The worlds has billions of people in it.  Everyone can't be special or super important but humanity has glommed on to the idea that we are all super important and have to be able to express that at every opportunity.  Whatever happened to just being content?
a new cover such as this introduces a great song to a new audience. Nice homage to Garth Hudson’s organ playing on the original.  Bravo ladies 🥰
This is nice, and I'd happily listen to it. But I do love the Nina version so much more.

yeah....these lyrics...that's why they give Nobel prizes

And this is a great cover

Nice version - and beautiful harmony. I'll start at a 7.
