Wow, that question about “How bad could something get?” is answered with this cut. It is freakin’ awful. It adds an apostrophe to what’s wrong with mashups. Those “artists” need to write and perform their own music on real instruments instead of co-opting the work of real artists — sorry to disagree with you Bill. Derivative is derivative, which is to say it runs short of being creative. I’ll grant that it is re-creative, like summoning the dead.

This controversial track truly requires some investigation by a Deadhead, namely me so I Googled around for it to find out the "who's who" and "what's what" behind it. Turns out the world traveling EDM DJ known as LP Giobbi, daughter of Deadheads has done a complete re-mix of Jerry's album "Garcia" in her style and regularly does "Dead House" performances. Yeah. This is good. Fun version of a great song. Jerry's vocals, cool mix, nice pace. It's very good.

I like the concept a lot, but the execution is bad. WIsh it was less industrial and more trippy. It's annoying to me. But I guess it's good to experiment..

A remix that is totally different than anything I've ever heard from Jerry Garcia or the Dead, and therefore I really appreciate that RP is introducing me to this.
On the other hand, I don't like it very much, so I'll rate it a 5.
