Fire woman, yeah

Shake, shake, shake, shake it, yeah

Wound up, can't sleep, can't do anything right, little honey
Oh, since I set my eyes on you
I tell you the truth
T-t-t-t-twistin' like a flame in a slow dance, baby
You're driving me crazy
Come on, little honey
Come on now

Fire
Smoke, she is a rising fire, yeah
Smoke on the horizon, well
Fire
Smoke, she is a rising fire
Oh, smokestack lightning
Smokestack lightning

Well, shake it up, you're to blame, got me swayin' little honey
My heart's a ball of burnin' flame
Oh, yes it is
Trancing like a cat on a hot tin shack
Lord, have mercy
Come on little sister
Come on and shake it

Fire
Smoke, she is a rising fire
Oh, smoke on the horizon, yeah
Fire
Smoke, she is a rising fire
Oh, smokestack lightning, baby

I was thinking what I've been missing
I'll tell you truthfully, well
She's coming close now
Oh, I can feel her
She's getting close to me
And I never, yeah

Fire
Smoke, she is a rising fire
Oh, smoke on the horizon
Fire
Smoke, she is a rising, rising, rising fire
Smokestack lightning
A-j-j-j...

Burnin' out
And shake it baby
Gotta have money

Stand down in front of me
Say, san stam bye to me
Say, san stam bye to me, yeah

Fire woman, you're to blame...

I also think Glen Danzig was a Cult fan
I've seen them probably 18+ times in concert and I must say they are also the most polarizing in live performance for me. They have more times than naught been a F'N powerhouse, firing on all cylinders but a few times they have performed like absolute shite, especially when Ian has one of his temper tantrums and takes it out on the fans. I keep going to see them though, so they do have a spell over me and it looks like Ian's matured and I haven't seen a melt down in quite awhile.
Another vote here for Love Removal Machine and Wild Flower 🤘🏼or how about a bit of Spiritwalker?
how about playing songs from Electric -  lil' devil, wild flower or love removal machine? currently only 2 songs by the cult are on the rock mix - fire woman and she sells sanctuary.
Bloody brillient

Every time I hear a song from U2’s Joshua Tree, it immediately transports me to my junior year in college. To hear the Cult’s “Firewoman” immediately after “In God’s Country” brought a broad smile to my face. Thanks for that.

funny. today it came on right after The Unforgettable Fire. interesting.

This is a song that I always have on a "Rock Out" playlist - a classic.
Great!!
WOW, sitting here working at 08.25 on a Sunday morning and this comes on... probably my favourite Cult song of all time, YES!!!

It's a 10 from me

As I have aged my music tastes have changed. However, this song brings me back to Alpine Valley in my 20's when we saw the Cult open for Billy Idol.  Still a good song but I have experienced greater as I have continued on my music life journey.

I saw that tour in Toronto.  Half the audience left after The Cult.  I watched a few Billy Idol songs, but its a 2 hr drive back to Buffalo so I left as well.

LOVE The Cult!
However they are the most inconsistent band live in concert. Its maddening that they are one of the best and also one  the worst bands that I have seen live.
They are the Jekyll and Hyde of bands, you never know which ones going to show up.

Same with new order :-)
One of the all time best of the time (can't believe I wrote a sentence like this, but ya'll get the jist  )

Overall, an accomplished and gifted album
This band (this tune) and GnR saved rock music during the grunge years.

By far the best band to CRANK IT THE F*** UP!!!
