Miles above the ground below
No particular place to go
Flying higher
Stumble back home to the news at 10
Catch a thought
Let it go again
Flying higher
It's a long way down
Down's not where I want to be
And if these days would never end
If laughter was my very oldest friend
Not a growing trend
Where what I have I always tend to lose
By dancing in the devil's shoes
The clock strikes 10 at the edge of doubt
Nothing I know is my world right now
Play on, play on
And could I see my soul turn blue
Cross the sun
Get burnt for you
Play on
Play on
It's a long way home
When home is the violet sky
And there's a storm in every bottle of wine
There's a ghost that finds me every single time I think of the games we'll miss
The playground and the avarice
Oh I should learn to know what to keep
What to let go
Talking out loud is not a good thing to do
When you're dancing in the devil's shoes
And I wish your face was just your face
And not the moonlight's chosen resting place
How can the world compare?
It's just a planet when you're not there
Come watch me hit the ground
With the most fantastic sound
Talking out loud is not a good thing to do
When you're dancing in the devil's shoes
Dancing in the devil's shoes
Miles above the ground below

Their "Through the Windowpane" album caught me offguard with its beauty and subtle references to lots of bands I love.
unique
I love it
I love it
I once hooked a Guillemot when casting bait for salmon in Haida Gwaii. Fortunately the bird managed to release itself from the non-barbed hook. Like most of the salmon I hooked, too.
I don't think it's a great song by any measure. But, it is growing on me.
Your singing out of your range buddy.
I like it. Nice atmospheric rock.
Splendid. Does sound, indeed, very Killersish
Sounds like the singer wants to be Bono. 1.

...cool cover art...
This is a Guillemot
It sounds like this song comes from a creature like this - rated 5
atmospheric. melodic. dark. fabulous.
One hopes the Devil has acceptable foot hygiene

Speaking French isn't necessarily the same as spelling it:-
Guillemets (« »), punctuation marks Guillemot, a seabird
As someone who speaks French, I am left wondering about the band's name, which translates into English as ''quotation marks.''

these guys are getting WAY too much rotation, yuck.
Sounds like just another fornulic whiny indie pop piece.
Love it, one of the reasons I love rp, it introduces me to great music like this I would never hear
whoa. he sounds a lot like brandon flowers.
this is absolutely horrid. i hope he stops singing.

The song's pretty good, but this guy can't sing.
I like this, sounds a lot like Tim Buckley in both voice and style.
there is some "Brandon Flowers" thing going on here...
he's looking but doesn't realize I slid into the stream, making my way under the foul and near frozen carcass of a deer; since losing my glasses on the run he appears blurry, I can't see if he still has the gun, did anybody hear the shots? has my abandoned car caught the attention of a ranger, or anyone ... I'll take this photo as a scrap of evidence, jeezus they'll find my body and wonder how and who, oh god, or else he'll take my cell and use it as a trophy, or even album art for his twisted "rock band"... fffffffffffreeeeezing oooh nooooo
I really like this; the lyrics are really amazing; as well is the voice of the lead singer. I will purchase this for sure.
Beautiful album art
