good groove
I can't hear this and not think of The Untamed World theme song from the late 60s and early 70's. Clearly a direct rip off. Someone's going to court... lol!
The theme music is such a weird recording, it sounds like it was recorded underwater. The link is an authentic representation, it truly sounded that crappy.

Very clever seque from London Grammar, that employs an identical riff in the same key.
One of those songs that's in the ether. You have heard this, even if you didn't realize it.
Repetitive, grating, not "old school."

This cut is better than most of the pop music that is out there today. It's old school and actually takes talent and not technology to produce.

Or if John Bon Jovi replaced Gary Lightbody in Snow Patrol.
This sounds like what Jon Bon Jovi would sound like today if Jon Bon Jovi was still making music and not pay tv commercial jingles.

Yep, formulaic like la la la - now the volume turns up and then we start clapping and possibly stomping on the sidekick, etc....
Alternative music that is alternative like all the rest of the alternative stuff. ha ha
But, if I weren't paying attention I'd have to admit to still tapping my toes. Music does that for me.

This does not sound like The Cure! It sounds like every band being played on "alt rock" stations. I can't wait till this bandwagon has driven away.

Website is dead. Are you with the band? I see you're from the same general area. You (they) should feel free to come over to the forum and talk music sometime.

kind of a foot tapper, I'm imagining it would work better live with the entire audience providing the hand claps.

Song definitely grows on you! Music like this is why RP is my favorite place for new music. Hey, I just found out they are from my hometown of Buffalo, NY!

New to me - has potential.
