Wrong, but I laughed out loud, so I'm giving you a thumb's up.  Keep 'em coming.
Wow, this sounds a lot like Christophe Goze's Sirocco (sp?)

I know that song from the Kelly Slater Pro Surfer game.

Four clubs! :o)
I often say my job is like doing surgery in a Haboob (in a space the size of a broom closet).
very nice!!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzesty!!  I went +2 to 8 on this one today after actually listening to it all the way through (and having it lead in to "Desert Raven" by Jonathan Wilson (a 9 rated tune for me) - Long Live RP and the Zesty and Eclectic mix!
Not his best. Tends to muzak.
I've described my work conditions as trying to do surgery in a haboob.
filter stuff down to a micron and package it in a freaking filthy environment.
at least none of my stuff is medical/food use.

EXCELLENT!!   The more I hear this, the more I like it! RP introduced me to him, and now I like a LOT of his music.  Thanx RP!

When I hear the word Haboob, it means "better close all your windows, turn off the swamp cooler, and get inside before you get a mouthful of dust and have to clean the bloody house after getting it full of red dust!". We have 'em here in Arizona too.

Oh yeah.
We get them here in La Quinta too.

Too Funny!  GREAT TUNE!!  Thanx RP!

Lived in Zurich for 9 years. On the last day before my departure, my wife and me celebrated the city by going to a Mich Gerber concert in the Badi Enge, in front of the Zurich lake and the setting sun with the alps in the background. What a magical moment.
Uncle Fester is rocking it!

Very 1995 synth sound, reminds me of The Inifnity Project or early Green Nuns of the Revolution. But nowhere near as good unfortunately and at least 10 years too late. It's a 3 from me.
I was thinking I heard this on Kelly Slater Pro Surfer game....

Turns out it was Christopher Goze - Sirocco.

If you like Haboob, check out Sirocco.

Rather insightful, do tell....
Play some Anouar Brahem next, please!

I was certain this was Future Islands! Definite similarity in vocal styles!

I see that I never reported back, but we did ride the bus for 6.5 hours on the edge of the Sahara desert, to come to a place called Riad Nezha in Merzouga, An oasis, on the edge. This was the soundtrack, par excellence.
It starts out promising, but then it becomes increasingly repetitive :-(

Bill and Rebecca . . . MANY THANKS for including Mich Gerber in your (almost always great) playlists . . .

Love this song and love "The Endless Song" from Zumurud (or is it Zumurud from The Endless Song)?  {#Wink}

Whatever . . .

When I get my iPod back in commission, I'm definitely including these in the "must add" list that you've helped me develop over the past months.

Have a great 2013!
This should be the title track to the newly acclaimed CD "Music that Sucks Vol43 : Now that's what I call Sucky"

Ohh, so that's what happened to the guy who wrote the soundtracks to Zalmon King's movies.

Because you'd have to run off to another radio station? At least this'll whet your appetite for 'stronger meat', much as Loreena McKevitt's Celtic Lite music is a taster for the real thing. Anyway, this is a mélange of Middle Eastern music and techno, which you might be hard-pushed to find elsewhere (Cheb i Sabbah does stuff like this so worth hunting down), and would you want to listen to this genre all the time? The great thing about RP, and one of the main reasons I stay and contribute to B&B's coffers, is its eclecticism, the sheer variety of musical styles on offer, such that I'm constantly surprised by what comes into my 'phones. I could go walkies to a 'genre' station (iranianradio.com was a fave) but then I'd not hear anything else.

This is pretty damn good. 7 from the Nottingham jury.

Sadly, I still think baby food and Bridge conventions when I see the name Gerber... ;)

Good input! I agree with your summary!

I would like it better with different rhythms.  Sounds to me like hummus on white bread, if that's possible.

The Endless String Album is probably better. But anyway, Mich Gerber is great.

I think this one is on the "Kelly Slater - Pro Surfer" Playstation2 game.  It kinda works for surfing.  Not sure who picked it for that.
