Two kinds of people in this world
Winners, losers
I lost my power in this world
'Cause I did not use it

So I go insane
Like I always do
And I call your name
She's a lot like you

Two kinds of trouble in this world
Living, dying
I lost my power in this world
And the rumors are flying

So I go insane
Like I always do
And I call your name
She's a lot like you

I've got mine in my hands (lap) right now.  Pretty minty condition  It'll be up shortly for listening and ripping.  Wonder if BG would like to add some of this album to the library.
Awesome: goosebumps for me!
Man, this would be SOOO good if the guitar tone didn't suck like a $5 piezo chit pickup. Its crushing my guitarist soul.
Bit of a bummer after Shatner.

I couldn't agree more.  Those of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's are still searching for music this good....Is it sentimentality, or just fact?

It's on the Dance video. We LOVE this rendition & feel his passion. When we watch the video we can't help but play it over & over. He definitely is an underrated guitarist. Sorry for the late response... just saw this post.

No other way to say this than it's an EXCELLENT rendition.  {#Cheers}

It really does sound like Stevie (was it her?) really ripped his heart out doesn't it?  Then again it nicely sums up how any lover feels when rejected....

It's from the DVD version.

Sorry.  I'll try to fix the links. Our clever software won't pass the proper code to Amazon to link to a DVD:

Had NO idea he was THAT good a guitar player, standing O a couple times....

oh my {#Rolleyes} perhaps he needs 'instruction' on how to cry properly!  Maybe we should criticize Lennon's cold turkey vocals too. oBBoyes wrote:

Totally agree. His guitar playing is criminally underrated. Lindsey's One Man Show tour in 2012 was a great showcase for his guitar playing. He blew audiences away. If you want to hear just how great Lindsey can be on guitar, I recommend downloading that live release.
Mission accomplished, I have lost touch with reality listening to this song.

We need a 9.5 for tracks like this one.  Maybe called Jesus  :-)   Not quite Godlike but a damn close relative.

Well he got characterized in a SNL skit, that's some recognition,
I've always been a little dismissive of Buckingham... don't really know why. Maybe it just boiled down to my own ignorance. But this really rocks. I will be far more attentive next time he pops up on the screen. Great tune!

Nope - I think he never got the proper credit, period.

Ages ago, after Fleetwood Mac had slipped into temporary obscurity before they hit the Oldies circuit, I saw Buckingham in a regional radio station where I had gone to drop off some advertising comps. He was sitting in the live studio, playing "Bleed to Love Her" and he was playing his ass off. I was transfixed, thinking bout this major talent playing his heart out for the benefit of drivetime assholes in the RDU rush hour traffic.

No justice in this universe, I tell ya.
All aboard the crazy train... ...next stop Buckingham!

Beautiful music - I know this pain, just can't sing a lick.
Well, one probably would Go Insane if one spent too much time around Ms Nicks.

I digress slightly but I bought one of her solo albums, that was OK, then a second which was a woeful collection of chip on her shoulder diatribe.

But this is powerful stuff.

Everybody in my church loves this song...

Love it!

SO    IN   TENSE! Love it!
This is one of my all time favourites :D. Love this so so much. Thanks RP.

Good (?) music for slipping around and thru heavy traffic on an open road... with the need for many-many miles to blow out the cobwebs...
Open up the engine and fly... towards or away from too much and not enough... Good album... Open windows and crank the speakers... wait for Tusk...

dramatically altering the tempo of a song like this is one of my FAVORITE approaches to keeping a song fresh...

This version takes all of the emotion out of the song. This used to be feisty, frustrated, and fantastic.

This is just a Spanish serenade, bummer.

I actually did a history paper on this. The flagellants were a movement that stated around 1348 when the plague hit Europe. They marched from town to town, whipping themselves bloody with leather that had sharp metal tips attached. The idea was that God had left the people and brought the plague as punishment, so the flagellants were trying to atone for the wickedness of themselves and others. They were a pretty self-righteous bunch.
I think that's how you can be self-adoring AND a flagellant. There's a feeling of superiority with every whipslice
Love this song.  Haunting.  And, Lindsey Buckingham is such an underrated guitarist.
Lindsey Buckingham is the Guitarist and Singer.  It looks like it is only on the DVD version of the Dance

that was an excellent album for the time and quite the departure from FM...

I'm not a big devotee of Lindsey Buckingham, but he is an outstanding guitar player, and yes, he very seldom - if ever - uses a pick.

I saw FM a while back. Lindsay Buckingham blew me away with his (still) incredible artistry and control of his guitar and voice. Astoundingly beautiful, haunting song.
Stop shouting! damn it!
OK. Moving on.
I love Lindsey Buckingham's work.
Why is there a gigantic piece of amateur art filling this page?
It's not even a portrait of Lindsay Buckingham!
Calypsus, please, use a little discretion.

I just came here to say the same thing.  That is an amazing album; one of my favorites.  The raw emotion Buckingham puts into this song is just wonderful.

One of the few later Fleecewood Jack (or is that Slamwood Hack) songs I actually really like. Saw them in concert way back in '71 and then again in '86. Love their old stuff.

I EFFIN' LOVE IT!  That's some intensity you can't catch on a studio album.

I like this arrangement a lot more than the original . . .
"Go Insane" sung with the intensity of someone on the way... this song really grabs me, shakes me, and throws me down hard. Love it! Everything about it is tight; the chords, the voice, the mood... just like headin down that road to the crazy place.

He abuses his guitar on this song! Very haunting solo. A solid 9.
