Anybody know what Ananda means? ...It is also the model name of an excellent headphone made by HiFiMan.

I'd be interested to see the rating evolution in time for songs like this. It must go up as Bill segregated into several channels.
Worldbeat listeners would be more appreciative of these songs. Hence their ratings should go up.....
The ratings for this one are over the place. I really like this
"Hindustni classical" sound, gave it a 7, more please

I tend to rate a song, then every time I want to change the rating, I do so by one only (up or down). This got bumped to a 9 so far. I really like the complexity. I stop to listen each time it plays.

Any piece of music that can make me stop work, close my eyes and enter a state of pure relaxation is worth at least an 8 to me.
This seems so approachable to my western ears. I really like those drums to. I think it is Zakir Hussain playing the tabla.
An easy 9.
An easy 9.
Oh, no, no...far too high to manage the anxiety this created...
Love the tabla less love for the rest of it. This only gets a 6 for me. Music from India can be very hit or miss
I like this new to me artist. And his picture from Wiki is awesome.
Enorme !!! Thanks for this moment
OK, that was odd. Heard the first bar or two and thought "another Nick Drake tune. . ."
Mid-arvie mellow - like it a lot....
is this a tribute to Ananda Shankar?

Love the tabla play over here.
This track is part of an album called "Ananda Bliss" by Shivkumar Sharma, and it's a great listen.
Fun tune. Lover the rhythms. Sounds like Indian drums and German music box. Should be an odd mixture but it works for me. Opens with a 6.
