I'm pulling my questions from my shelf
I'm asking forgiveness
I'm asking about it by myself
And I want you to know this
And I want you to know this
You're rifling through a bunch of toys
That were handed down to me
Just take all the ones you want and then
Give the rest to my family
I'm going back to school today
But I'm dropping myself off
I'm throwing the childhood scenes away
I'm through ripping myself off
I'm done ripping myself off
Well I'm child and man and child again
The toy broken boy soldier
I'm child and man and child again
The boy never gets older
The boy never gets older
The boy never gets older
The boy never gets older
The boy never gets older
Never gets older
The boy broken toy soldier
The boy
The boy...

I think bass, guitar and drums are much more simplistic than anything Rush would do -- but this rocks, I still like it (7).

Vocalist reminds me of Rush.

seems more screamy than normal in this one.

OK, but not great. Maybe it will grow on me.

I thought this was a weird early demo for Led Zeppelin - the singer reminds me of Robert Plant.

Not really digging this at all.

Well below par I’m sorry to say. Nothing new or fresh and the music is rocky, stumbling along, and mediocre. 2/10
Not too bad. The lyrics are a bit interesting.
sounds like death- i need life-affirming tunes right now. nice to hear neil young after this.
Garage band that should stay there.
psychedelic guitar playing —very good band—- it was loud and i guess i was in the mood.
Nice to hear a rock band where the male singer has a larger octave range than what has been commonplace since the advent of grunge. I hope this is a new trend.

Awesome new kids on the block. like Led Zeppelin
frightening
Yes. But, LZ did this shtick and did it and did it too much. Having it revisited in this way is far too much LZ redundancy for me.
Speaking of Brendan, I'd be nice to hear "Metarie" for once.
Brendan...I think Jack White is dragging you down...
Without scrolling through the previous commentary -- pardon a possible duplicate comment. I'm hearing Uriah Heep... Now where's my bitchin camaro...?

No need to get nasty about it.
God!
Every time I hear this I like it more and more.
It's like fingernails on the blackboard........

Liking it, reminds me of early James Gang for some reason.
One of the few concerts that I ever walked out of because it was just too f'ing loud. I'm sure that this cut is intended to be played at ear-bleeding levels as well. Still give it a 6. Possibly a 7 if I were in a slightly different frame of mind.
I thought it was the White Stripes. Almost. Same crap.
I think my ears are bleeding.
The perils of wearing headphones, with the volume cranked for Guster and Eels.

bleah...
wildly different from other cuts we have heard so far from this album...is that a little Led Zepplin-esque? Yow, I am taken back and brought forward.
Ya know, I am liking it...gotta good beat, it's danceable, it never gets older, the broken boy soldier. cool beans.
I like this! I first thought it was Led Zep.
Needlesss to say, I had never heard of them before today. Thanks RP!
Saw them at Lollapalooza...they were GREAT!
