Nice song. But I thought I had accidentaly started MS flight simulator because it sounds almost like that song :)
GOOD TUNE!  This is the first time that I have heard this tune. That is why we come here,  Thanx RP!
Back in the early '60s, I had a large Tyco H-O train setup. It was totally cool!  LOL!
the over and over again echo-y bell sound is driving me to the PSD.
The rest of this album is also great worth a listen.
Just a suggestion that you add a "meh" rating available for commenting.  And I'm not saying this about this song, just think it would be appropriate for the times.  And I am enjoying this song.
Is he related with the famous medieval astronomer? :-)

Perhaps. I enjoy noodling.
Someone mentioned Boards of Canada... Wow. Never heard of them and find out that they are Scottish!

Love ya" RP for having a great space to talk with musicos!
The musical equivalent of doodling
Glad to see all the Boards of Canada fans coming out of the trees here,

Would love to hear 1969 here on RP!

Perfect for a timelapse film of roiling storm clouds....
super good
This music makes me feel so sad, like I missed something I shouldn't have.

Then there was his great grand father Tycho Brahe.........he would really have  grooved to this.

Then there is the Tyco of Security and Fire Protection and other things (formerly based in Switzerland, now merged with Johnson Controls and based in Cork, Ireland for Tax reasons)
I feel like someone is whispering sweet nothings into my ear.

Seagulls are ripoffs of birds!
What a world.

Interesting.  Maybe that is why I started listening actively to what otherwise sounds like regular ambient electronica.

Boards of Canada as a benchmark for quality....   I listened to Tomorrow's Harvest earlier today.

LOL! ...actually, the COX 1/24 scale La Cucaracha was the BEST! I used to beat all the boys at the local track with mine!
Is this the guy who made those slot car racing sets in the '70s that I played with?
Most excellent... followed Future Islands... thought it was an extended version of FI.
This is why I love RP. Such a great mix and Tycho is the sort of eclectic obscure artist I really enjoy. Most people would not include something like this. Thank you.

I agree. In fact, thanks to RP I recognized several of his songs that are used in the non-violent video game HOHOKUM (2014). So you're not far off!
Pleasant and upbeat.
I like it!

Tycho with the silver nose and the bad bladder infection.  Wouldn't have been very famous without my main man, Johannes, making sense of his observation numbers.

I did a science project on Kepler's three laws of planetary motion in 7th or 8th grade.  I made a working model out of Legos with a sun and a planet going around it in a nearly circular ellipse and sweeping out the same area of the ellipse for a given time period.  It was cool.  I got a blue ribbon.

That's not my drumming.  Nor is it my bass playing.
Or maybe while shopping for clothes.

Gaaah!!
tranquil groove  {#Cool}

A beautiful floating and dreamy track!{#Roflol}
What disturbs me somehow, is the change of the beat from 4/4 to 2/4 in the middle.
Auto show music.
Good track but it's basically a Boards Of Canada-ripoff

Agreed.
Created a pandora station called Tycho after hearing this one. love it
Uninspired, derivative, boring.
Ah yes, some of that nice "floating over a field of daisies" music.
Always glad to hear Tycho.

saw them in SF in June while at Google conference. Nice and personal sized venue outdoors. They sounded great. Drummer was tight!
Nice!! Reminds me of Boards of Canada
Many thanks for the tip!

I follow it regularly for his excellent musical recommendations mostly, but to agree with your comment - he is a fantastic designer too and posts a lot of design-y stuff too. He's got good taste, I think.

nice working music..
I acknowledge when something sounds "like something else."  But it doesn't diminish its beauty or sonic delight.
tSorry, hate to be negative, but it just sounds like a U-2 riff....

BTW he is a terrific graphic designer.

Lovely.  Nice for a snowy day in New England.

If you like this - check out the rest of the album - lots of strong songs (chill electronica, but with beautiful melodies) on this disc.
What's more! the slide show is great too..

I'm quite a huge fan of this style of music but I didn't know Tycho.
So, once again, THANKS A LOT, BILL!   {#Notworthy}

For those who love this, you may listen to Tunturia's stuff.
Sweet...
Ok... I am there
Like this. Will listen out for more from them.
Sounds very William Orbit - like. Nice!
The beginning sounds like they hijacked a drum track from The Flaming Lips.

No, not forgetable...I just think it's sort of not impressive but I won't forget it. Your six works for me, too.
Runs a bit long, methinks.

It's like someone said, "Yeah, I like Boards of Canada and all, but you can't dance to it."  And these guys said, "Here, try this."
