Funny - this song could be kinda lame if I didn't have an imagination that turns it into a Dark Cabaret type scene with masked dancers and traditional folk dancing in a dark shady theatre with old velvet curtains and crooked wooden steps to the stage.

Benefits of knowing nothing of the artist, not watching videos online, and making a scene up in your own head ~ I guess.
again, thank you for RP for introducing me to this artist

Wow
Her voice keeps me listening, but I think triangle should be consigned to history in this digital age.  I just hear an alarm going off quietly in the distance, and it's off-putting
Tough audience.
Whoever is playing 1st Typewriter is doing a bang-up job.
Lets start with something new,,,,,,,like a new song

Different strokes. I've enjoyed the last 30 minutes tremendously.

Little Feat - On your way down
Anne Brun - One
PJ Harvey - Down by the water
Joni Mitchell - Don Juan's reckless daughter

Searching for a theme (it's how I'm wired).
None of it is recent, none well-known.

Can't find the glue, but don't really care, sounds great!
Very enjoyable.

Rochelle, Rochelle.  Great movie.  Or so I'm told.

I like it a lot.

It has an anxiety. Anxiety is an emotion, that i like in music at most.

What is interesting, she also performs in new, orchestral version, of Peter Gabriel's song "Don't give up".

Love it. Pretty awesome song and something very new in my music library.

Ane Brun and The Machine?

Hey that reminds me, why doesn't Bill play Laurie Anderson every once in awhile??

...he does every once in a great while, but just let X=X and excellent birds - most of her other tracks have been rejected...

What's with all the complaining? This is excellent.
I can't say that I particularly like this song, but there is somethine about Ane Brun's voice that keeps me listening....
Dunno, this sounds as weirdly avant garde as Björk hanging out with the Sparks brothers.
Not my cuppa but I will keep an ear out for what comes next from her.

Really?    Trying way too hard.  Give it up!
Yeah, this qualifies as eclectic.  Yup.

Weird

I dunno.  The beat, the drums... I feel like it should be part of a soundtrack for a children's movie.  And the lyrics are kinda dumb.

meh.

But thanks for the new.  If we're going to have counting songs, play Danny Kaye's Inchworm

Interesting sound, one that could grow on you. Nice voice, too. I'm not so sure about the premise of the song about "it all starts with one" - cosmologists might have a bit of a disagreement with that ;)
actually MOST revolutions come from dreams...
