I wont ask you where you're goin.
I wont ask you where you been.
I know after a million times you get sick of all my lines,
but I just wanna see you safe again.
Hopefully it occurs to me that there's one thing I cant stand.
That's the thought of a single day, without your head in my hand.
I know that just now I aint been showin,
the kind of love you know that I can.
So gimmie a little time and you'll be knowin your good lovin
baby is back on top again.
I always hoped you'd be showin,
and now you've shown as much as you can.
But after each time im still glowin
with a good lovin smile that's yours until the end.

jup. absolutely horrible.
There's something wonderful about the songwriting, but my ears can't tolerate the duff notes.  Sorry, PSD.

It is clear and obvious to me that this is a more recent production - and production is the key word. Since they gave a name - Americana - to this kind of music it isn't the same. Too much filtering. This song is "full of itself". The same thing would have been done 40 years ago without the technology and self-grandeur and would have been GREAT.

Filtering?  Did I miss something or was this a live recording?  How is this different or more full of itself than any boring dude-with-a-guitar from 40 years ago?  It's cleaner and less distorted than old recordings, because technology has improved and this was probably recorded with modern equipment.  Otherwise I don't hear any "production"
That said, I do not like the song.

This quasi country is horrendous.  PSD is now required for RP listening.   Used to be nice using my stand alone player.

I'm embarrassed by my admiration for this odd piece of music, it is one of those mornings where it's soft loneliness sort of fits, if someone else walks in while its playing I'd lower the volume way down … music for being alone

something about understated live acoustic guitar and heartfelt singing is wonderful {#Clap}
At first I didn't like it, then it grew on me.
my meh-ing jacket
awsome
warms my soul like a neil young song...8.
For a moment I thought I was listening to Neil, there, when his voice broke striving to make that high note. Somehow it comes across as endearing. A nice feel to the tune, done live. I like it!
Just saw them last week. What an outstanding evening of rock and roll. Magical music.
nice!
