Go forward
Go forward my love
I know you're afraid
Of this cold world

The sun is shining high
You take it to the fore
You threw out your old life
You couldn't give more

These words aren't worth their salt without love
In the city below the forest I find the dove

It's never been this rough
I've never been so poor
It's never been this real
I cut the final chord

The sun is shining high
You take it to the fore
You threw out your old life
You couldn't give more

So this is the band Luna then, right?  Either way, I did a +2 to 7, noting unpleasant about this one, so why the hell not?  LLRP!!

This is excellent! Thanks again Bill!

Perhaps I need Webfoot's office distractions, otherwise I have to agree with Jelani...
I wasn't really paying close attention given office distractions, but I think this is pretty good. Go figure. 7 for now.

I agree with all the above, though I did actually listen to this whole tune without wincing (I rather hear a car-alarm then any Decemberist song)

This doesn't sound AT ALL like the Decemberists.  It does, however, sound like a cat with its tail stuck in a door.

No, this surely doesn't sound like the Decembrists. It is far more upbeat and melodious, less cerebral, and the singer is not affected or warbling in a strange inflection. The Decembrists, as a consequence, despite fine musicianship and unique compositions, do indeed sometimes sound like a stuck cat.

That may be an oxymoron. {#Lol}

agree it sounds a lot like Vampire Weekend,

If you stare intently at the cover image for a minute, then look away, the after-image looks like an unknown planet.
