And I'm not going back
Into rags or in the hole
And our bruises are coming
But we will never fold

And I was your silver lining
As the story goes
I was your silver lining
But now I'm gold

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold

And I was your silver lining
High up on my toes
Well you were running through fields of hitch-hikers
As the story goes

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold

And the grass it was a ticking
And the sun was on the rise
I never felt so wicked
As when I willed our love to die

And I was your silver lining
As the story goes
I was your silver lining
But now I'm gold

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold

But now I'm gold
But now I'm gold

what goes around....if i remeber well, george harrison got sued because of "my sweet lord" .... but i guess this is a non-intenial proof that similarties can happen without intention - the riff thoug ist exactly my sweet lord - charming thoug

So the Chiffons were the band that made "He's So Fine" which led to the lawsuit between Allen Klein and George Harrison.  George was sued for creating a song too close to He's So Fine.  Therefore, considering the obvious similarity in Kiley's song to Harrison's, Klein should now probably sue Kiley...I mean, hey, it worked against Harrison!

George Harrison a relative?
Love her voice. . .quite the cutie as well.
This song has a certain appeal, but the rest of the album is dreadful.
i love this, not played enough

Having actually stayed at said Holiday Inn, I can speak with certainty that you would not.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I was tapping my foot and bobbing my head to this one.... good thing I have my office door closed so no one can see me look like Chris Kattan in a night at the roxbury

George Harrison would like his guitar riff back please. Thank you.
Thought the same thing when I heard it! Song's not bad though, even with the guitar-line lift. (or maybe because of?)
I have been completely addicted to this song since I first heard it (on RP I believe) several months ago. Lately it's seemed to be in less rotation so I'm really glad to hear it again. More, Bill, more! P.S. I logged in for the first time in months to make this comment. :p
lovely song, beautiful vocals.

You chose the town you live in just for one reason, right?

OK, I'm not the only one who hears that.
Sounds like a bunch of other dull crap. Are these guts actually making a living at this??
I prefer their last album (More Adventurous) over this one. This latest one is a bit disappointing, it's too much like shallow commercialized pop for my liking!
Very nice piece of work. Will await subsequent hearings with interest. Yep, doin' it for me. 9.
