I have had bouts of severe depression and suicidal thoughts I can't really pinpoint what helped me ultimately but confiding with my loved ones definitely helped and realizing it just isn't fair to them for me to allow myself to isolate myself and wallow in misery and self pity. I spent time thinking deeply about things and seeing how life is ludacris and a paradox for everyone. I had severe depression for a long time, and after years of trying all sorts of things, high doses of FISH OIL is what seems to have finally saved me from that hell...best wishes.

Take one of the great singers of the 90's who fronted one of the best bands from the Grunge era, add a unique, interesting guitarist who played in a groundbreaking rap/metal band and what do you get? Well, an AOR slice of meh.

I fear making this comment due to the fact that I will be condemned by those RP holier than though folks that NEVER listen to commercial radio, but RP SHOULD play the good tunes from commercial radio in order to maintain relevance to what is going on in the world and in order not to ignore the music that is good that gets played there. Boycotting all music played on commercial radio would violate what I am gleaning is the purpose of RP — to play diverse music from diverse sources and not deny accessibility to any good music. There. ugg.. make this pain stop. i grew as a teen in the 90's and never, ever liked Chris or Soundgarden. Temple of the Dog is alright, but thats about as far as I go with Chris.
Also, i dont get the RATM comparison. There surely are no sonic similarities, just some musicians are shared.

i fall in the complete opposite camp. i can listen to (and usually like) anything with cornell, (aside from his version of Ave Maria which sounds like a bad calliope) but i cannot stand pearl jam or eddie vedder's voice.
