Maybe I'm getting old, but I just can't go all night anymore.  I have to sleep (or in my case, work) and will need to do some other things at some point.  Still, fond memories of my early 20's when I had the energy to be "active" during the night and still be able to pull of working in the day.   

On an unrelated note...  it's amazing how much my wife's boss looks like Koko Taylor.  From what I understand, she can't sing like Koko at all though.

I had the good fortune to see Koko at the old Walnut Hills bar in Dayton back around '77.  The place was way oversold both in seats and drinks.  She rocked us hard and left us all exhausted.

Got to see her in Alaska a few years back at the now defunct Blues on the Green festival. Talk about woman POWER, this gal's got it in spades! Koko could be a mixed blessing live. I saw her live at a dive in Indiana sometime in the eighties.

She refused to come out on stage until the crowd was chanting K0-KO TAY-LAR, KO-KO TAY-LAR. She then spent most of her set yelling at the drummer.

But then again there were concerts in Chicago where she tore the house down!
