Why?  This electronic music is not what I am used to hearing on Radio Paradise.  Please cease and desiist!
would be much better without the yelps
I like this, but I could do without the hiccups
Nice.
ya know...they got pipe wrenches that will fix that sqweak

Actually that would be pretty funny, Bill doing one of those 1980s radio stunts where they play a song nonstop and air the phone-in complaints in the middle of the marathon.  I still remember when radio stations did that stuff.
Somebody please cure the singer's hiccup.
Thanks a lot. This station keeps surprising me after many years.
You can trance if you want to...

of course you mean the DJ formally known as Bill.

No problem then I'll just meditate.
Gotta turn those Fostex puppies  way up then it's good!
Yeah I know it's been said here by all you fine folks, and this song is cool, but I just have to say....

S-S-S-S
A-A-A-A
F-F-F-F
E-E-E-E-

eh you get the joke.  Peace.

This song's not bad but about 6 or 7 minutes too long.

I bet this would be a great song to listen to while skating...
I'm laughing at myself, (not an unusual event).  I was listening to RP and this track played and I stopped what I was doing and went to my PC to see who it was as I was really enjoying it.  Only to find out I own that CD and I had completely forgotten about it and haven't played it in years!  RP is always a gift.
go ahead.
Just TRY to find this cool of a piece of music (or any given RP set) in ANY rotation of commercial-free radio.
I double-dog dare you!

My understanding is Rebecca [as of 2020 anyway] does [did] the bulk of programming.
Regardless of who does this Herculean task — can you imagine the amount of talent & work it takes to find/secure/sync/etc.!!  music over the span of four 24/7 music streams?

From the killer app to the mixes — it’s SO damn good!

Thank you, RP! You’re my Life Soundtrack.

Whoop! Kills it for me.
"Safety Dance" - yes
...but good!

So, it isn't just me.  I wonder if they credited Men Without Hats?

The whole rhythm track is definitely a sample of "Safety Dance"

Yes, but the more I listen, the more I keep buying CDs!  I suppose it's a win/win, as the artists get far more royalties from hard-media sales than they ever see from DLs...
It's artists like this that keep me coming back to RP over and over. The "whoop" in this song is great. And if you don't like this one, there is always "Siip Siie" :)

That's called a "percussive adjustment," but in this case it didn't work.
I confess I own this.  it gets a 7
Not my cuppa. Way too repetitititititive.
Hiccups?

It's a regular on the RP Eclectic Channel ... come on over!

Wow. Intoxicating, mysterious and addictive all at once. Thanks RP!

Wow this is good stuff! 8 for now.
I love the part with the hiccups
probably very enjoyable at a party with a lot of drugs.
I think its kind of OK but the hiccups kill it for me.
Please give us more of this fascinating world music! *dancingaroundmymusicboxes*

Guess I'll head over to KPIG too.  RP has gone bad for the moment.
Eclectic or folkloric, doesn't mean bad or monotonous.

Agreed! Beautiful
Forgive me Aharamax, but I can\'t take this!

Safety Dance! Let's hear that! This one didn't catch my groove button, but it definitely has some interesting little bits. The safety dance thing was hilarious, but I'm glad I was looking at the comments, or I may have been driven mad trying to remember that one. Even though this song didn't get my foot tapping, I really like the occasional extended mix. Helps keep the highlights on those melody driven, rump shakers (or whatever jazz you like -yeah, I said JAZZ). -ptah

S (s-s-s) A (a-a-a) F (f-f-f) E (e-e-e) T (t-t-t) Y (y-y-y) Safety Dance At least the song caught my attention. I don\'t think I would like to hear this on heavy rotation.

Not my thing. Switched to KPIG.
Guess I must be exceptionally easy to please :)
I hate when Rp\'s playlist swings to this kind of music... I respect people who like it, but I am switching off.

I like it.. its a dance trance type song.. which doesn\'t fit with the rest of the people here on RP... but I tolerate them anyway

LET'S GO RED WINGS I can picture what you are saying, being a native Michigander and Red Wing fan.
 I have died and gone to hell. But it is different. Good mix.

ncredibly monotonous.
Music by Xerox. No thanks.

I think it's the combination of that echoey snare sound and they synth buried in the background. It does have a similar sound. You can dance if you want to
I don\'t know WTF is going on here, but this song\'s certainly growing on me. Must be the sample of the singer :D Could use a lot more creativity with(out) the drum-machine.
Does anyone else hear \"The Safety Dance\" in the rhythm track? Or am I having a flashback?
I\'m mesmerized...
