If you can heal the symptoms
But not affect the cause
It's quite a bit like trying to heal
A gunshot wound with gauze

If you instead attempt to wrest
The pistol from the hand
Then I would not be able to
Equate my life with sand

Flowing through the hourglass
Pushing through the funnel
Turn once more while racing
All your siblings for the tunnel

Slide and let the silicone
Embrace you as you fall
Then bounce and land you let
Your brothers crush you to the wall

I would choose my own religion
And worship my own spirit
But if he ever preached to me
I wouldn't want to hear it

I'd drop him, a forgotten god,
Languishing in shame
And then if I hit stormy seas
I'd have myself to blame

Bump.. Today is 4/20,: April 20, 2023.
Anyone who's ever played with more than just one other knows how good Phish are.  They've always been good at what they do.

Dude/Dudette/Neither.  Obviously photoshopped.  FAKE NEWS!!!
When are you going to play some Goose?   Dripfield, Hungersite, Borne or Arrow from Grammy nominated album.
Madison Square Garden 2022- What an amazing show!!!

Ask a phish head anything you want to
They'll just answer, "Trey's the best!"

Many thanks for these links. A most interesting insight, and an interesting, pleasant and happy guy!!

Good Tune!
You can really appreciate the bass drum interplay when your scrubbing the floor next to a JBL L166 defining that groove.

Just went over to Spot. I realized this track of Farmhouse is soo much departing from the rest. in a good way, I mean.

Being deaf is not a a condition to make fun of.

Every time? This suggests you recognize that this is music (or might be waiting in ambush) but object on some principle or other. Fair enough, but rather pointless, I'd say.

the point is: this is funny and fake, no harm done.

For some reason reminds me of Shriekback, so it's good.
Rare but pleasant treat to hear Phish! Agreed that live is best, but there are some great studio cuts, like Down with Disease, or anything off Rift!

great seque!  during Starship Trooper I was thinking how much early Phish (YEM, Fluffhead etc) owed to early Yes!

Love it...........!

this is good stuffing
This is funky! Never heard of them before but catchy rhythm.
As I must always point out to RP listeners, don't judge Phish by their studio albums. Their live stuff is so much different. I'm going to see them at Dick's in Denver in a couple of days. Can't wait.
Everybody in my homeless camp loves this song...

One of those few studio songs that even comes close to their live stuff. If you really want to get to know Phish, you must listen to their live music. Better yet, go see one of their shows.
First Phish song that didn't bore/irritate me....

that's an outhouse door

The album art reminds me of the outhouse that was outside my grandparents cabin by the river.  For some reason it was called Ms. Jones.  I always hated using that thing as a kid.
Hmmm . . . more meh than ever. . .

Yeah, I'd love to hear some from "A Picture of Nectar" - the cd that started my Phish love.  The only band I came remotely close to "following" - but I know seeing 3 or 4 shows in a row isn't really following, to the hardcore... does it help that I didn't shower for several days during that time period?  {#Stupid}

Liking the aquatic theme of the last few songs... but how did AfroCelts fit in?  (I wasn't listening at that point so not sure if the song had a "fishy" theme.)

I normally do not like Phish, but this song is nice!  I was surprised to see it was not the Stone Roses — it sounded to me A LOT like "Fool's Gold".

IMHO, Phish does not sound like the dead, any more than the Rolling Stones sound like the Beatles.

So, no. That ain't the point.

Uncharacteristic? Would sound good on The Sopranos.

Interesting... have a country outhouse half built right now, should finish her up this weekend. ITS A FACT: Luna is a traditional symbol for women, Sol for men. Historically a pair of outhouses were marked so to keep them seperate. The women's outhouses lasted longer because men were (are) such slobs that their's tended to fall apart from lack of maintenance to the point that it got to be a rare sight to see a Sol marked outhouse period. Soon Luna was used on all outhouses out of habit, the inherent laziness in not wanting to build seperate privys, plus the need for a little bit of light, ventilation, and privacy. The outhouse pictured here is apparently in a matriarchal environment, the Sol symbol reduced to mere afterthought. Bitches.

Finally some Phish... I haven't really heard them before, just seen the name all over the web. Well? Nice music, but the singing is not that striking... kind of boring and I can't really hear any of the lyrics. No some Fish would be better.
I prefer Phish-Sand-Chips
Finally, finally -- some grooves I can really get into. More Phish, PLEASE!!!!!!!! While you're at it, some Trey Anastasio solo stuff would be good. And some MOE, etc.

well, you DID say the men were slobs . . .
Yikes--Yes into Phish! I don't know how much more self-indulgent noodling I can take.
Great tune...............
Can't play it loud enough, guess I should get better speakers
Mmm, love this layered, catchy groove! Very tasteful.
Whoooo Hoooo! Finally some PHISH! Love this song, love the album! This deserves a
