Please send positive thoughts for the sugar gliders that were in the pits for the underground fibre optic cables when the technician came out to fix our internet. I think a couple may have headed the wrong way along the cables and am not sure if they will make it out. Not sure how/why they got in there but they looked healthy. The techo had no idea what they were and I told them they are harmless and how special it was to see them.

My friend gave her "victim's" statement (though she said she considers herself not a victim, but a survivor) this afternoon. The monster has been sentenced to life in Federal prison. Thank goodness.
I watched the video interview with your friend. What happened to her is horrifying. You wonder if the guy had done similar things before...

thank goodness is right. he deserves everything they can throw at him. i hope your friend feels good about the outcome.
I learned today that earlier this month the man who brutally attacked my dear, old friend in Tulsa last year has been convicted on all charges. He will likely spend the rest of his life in jail.

Yeah, so I had covid in March, found out that my chemo was causing heart damage, and then had the flu in April, after vacation.
SO.... I now have a cardiologist, and new meds that should help my heart to repair itself..but that also cause my blood pressure to drop.
My blood pressure is already on the low side, so... yeah, I almost passed out yesterday after taking the new meds.
I'm waiting for a call from the cardiologist's office regarding what we try now. Hopefully, we can just lower the dosage and keep going.
In the meantime, my chemo has been suspended, but I will still go to the oncologist once a month for the medication that works against the bone metastasis.
They are also going to submit my blood for further testing for newer, alternate treatments.
So, I am NOT out of options yet, and I fully intend to keep fighting..... I've got a baby great niece to keep tabs on!!!
This is my 9th year in treatment for stage 4 breast cancer.
Any ongoing prayers, juju, good thoughts, hopes, etc, that you can offer is MUCH appreciated, and I send you back my love and always my gratitude.
