Has anyone seen the "poor thing" yet? Wonder if it is any good at all. Previously hyped movies (Okja and Snowpiercer) by the same director which I watched, both turned my off, big time. ~ I seriously wonder, what Hollyweird is gonna come up with next. Oscars in the sewer pipes?

I like his work. He makes imaginative movies with a message/social commentary.

The message/commentary is ok, but the movies are both (more than) lame. There are loads of older movies with comparable commentary/message around.  Perhaps, it comes with one's age. Since what Hollywood has been "best" at (sarcasm here) are remakes. Those films though aren't remakes. Yet... I don't like them very much. Have you seen "Parasite"?

Not yet. Neither are really Hollywood movies, but more like foreign co-productions. So what makes the movies "lame?"

In Okja, I could not help but falling asleep. Lame for boredom.
Snowpiercer is flashing violence and know-how in costumes and animation. Yet, Violence is stupidly glorified, imho hard to stand watching.

Both plots are super lame... especially for so-called "foreign films".

A matter of taste, of course...

Jake Tapper tweets about one anonymous source. That's deep journalism.

From The Washington Examiner, which sadly doesn't have Zerohedge.com's photo of the lovebirds riding wild animals despite being a hack site all on its own:

“What's been articulated in the news is that the intelligence community has concluded that the Russians are trying to help Trump again. But the intelligence doesn't say that,” Tapper’s source said. “The problem is Shelby said they developed a preference for Trump. A more reasonable interpretation of the intelligence is not that they have a preference, it's a step short of that.”

The national security official added that “it's more that they understand the president is someone they can work with, he's a dealmaker. But not that they prefer him over” his Democratic opponents.

“So it may have been mischaracterized by Shelby,” Tapper’s source said.

So, not that interesting. Tapper's source doesn't sound credible, given Trump's desperately eager embrace of Putin.

Seriously: Zerohedge.com ? Love their "Manifesto" and decision to let their "reporters" post anonymously. Not sketchy at all!

Nope. They even managed to get banned on Twitter in relations to their fear-mongering reports on Covid-19.

Love those "twosome ranging idiots", though.

With some MAGA idiot using a horribly inappropriate Korean accent to be sure he understands it.

My version would use Obama's voice for all male actors, and Hillary's for all female ones.
