Super Tuesday is going to be most interesting.  We'll get to see how many votes that his money can buy.

Don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in Cleveburg his ads are everywhere on both radio and TV.

Curiously enough, I live in Northern NJ and am in the NYC media market. We get bombarded with Bloomberg ads as if we didn't know who he was. Crickets on all the other candidates, Trump inclusive.

Here in Southern California, Tom Steyer is getting way more airtime than Bloomberg. Still has me baffled why we don't hear about him in the news, what is he hoping to accomplish with such a narrow focus?

Yup, Steyer is all over the airwaves here.

I’m still a Warren fan, tho. Maybe as VP if not P, but she would be good to have on board. The problem would be, with something like a Pete/Liz ticket, she’d quickly be assigned the role of the doting mom making sure the kid brushes his teeth. That wouldn’t be a good look for the ticket.

Eh, the natural role for Joe Biden in the Obama administration would have been as The Adult In the Room. I'll just go ahead and let the irony of that sink in.

I thought that Joe's role in the Obama administration was protection against impeachment or assassination.

Seriously though, Joe did have one good point that stood out to me.  A corporate minimum tax.  There are many large corps that due to the way parts are structured with our tax laws are able to not pay any federal income taxes at all despite having profits in the billions of dollars.  I could get behind a minimum of say 15% tax on these heretofore untaxed profits.

Yes, the airwaves are flooded around here with ads for the Dem candidates (and some for Trump).  NC is now the 3rd-most populous among the Super Tuesday states (after CA and TX).  It's possible that Bloomberg has invested in more of them but I'm not really keeping count.   There's a big Senate race against Thom Tillis, so there are a lot of ads for those candidates as well.

So from that point on all I could think about Bloomberg was that he was going to make the trains run on time.

Shades of Il Duce ... That and all the other things recently surfacing about his past positions, corporate culture in his empire and thoughts about who should be let on the stage with him.

All hail, Benito Bloomberg,  Il Duce !!!!

The quadrennial political game of least worst, or how to scare the public to vote for presidential candidates who serve corporate power, comes this season with a new twist. Donald Trump, if he faces Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar or Michael Bloomberg, will continue to be an amalgamation of Adolf Hitler, Al Capone and the Antichrist. But should Bernie Sanders manage to evade the snares, traps and minefields laid for him by the Democratic Party elites, should he miraculously become the party’s nominee, the game of least worst will radically change. All the terrifying demons that inhabit Trump will be instantly exorcised. But unlike in the biblical story of Jesus driving the demons into a herd of swine, they will be driven into the senator from Vermont. Trump will become the establishment’s reluctant least worse option. Sanders will become a leper. The Democratic and Republican party elites, joining forces as they did in the 1972 presidential election, will do to Sanders what they did to George McGovern, who lost in 49 of the 50 states.

There are only three viable presidential candidates, according to Mike Bloomberg's campaign

I think he may be right, but further highlights that Bloomberg has never been short of arrogance and condescension.  It is kind of his specialty.{#Lol}

How long has it been since you did your own thinking? You woke folks are so predictable.  Just like lemmings.

It's marginally entertaining how you betray your own predictability while trolling others in ways that announce a clear lack of self-awareness & originality.  Countless others before you could pull off that schtick with much more imagination, cleverness, and wit.  The entertaining part is anticipating your response to see how close I get.
