"Long-winded" in this case is a synonym for "thorough".
The video makes it clear that the dam has been failing for some time. Regardless of the precise moment it failed it would have happened in the midst of a war. There is no time that wouldn't have been suspicious.
Long winded is a synonym for stretching out a video post to twice it's needed length to deliver the conclusion. He gives us a history lesson on when the first dam was ever built! It was a few minutes after that that I realized he wasn't going to get from point A to point B anytime soon and jumped to the end.
I obviously have no hard evidence and we will all have to wait awhile for the definitive answer, but I still think it too coincidental for the exact timing of the failure... therefore; I think explosives of some kind were likely used. But make no mistake, I believe Russia to be at fault either way.
Gross negligence resulting in a catastrophic result is only marginally less reprehensible that engaging in intentional actions that caused the result.
I watched the last two minutes of that as that is where his conclusion is. Heâs pretty long-winded. His hypothesis is it was Russian negligence which is possible but interesting in that the dam failure happened to coincide right before Ukraineâs counter-offensive. The timing is too coincidental to suggest a cause other than just negligence IMO.

When a bad thing happens (and the catastrophic failure of this dam is definitely a bad thing) it's always tempting to apply your pre-existing prejudices. Of course it was the Russians! It's just the sort of thing they'd do!
Or in the case of a Kremlin mouthpiece like Tucker, of course it was the Ukrainians! It's just the sort of thing they'd do! Just like the Nordstream pipeline. Maybe they used the same submarine to plant the sophisticated explosives.
Or not. Both sides in the conflict have reasons not to destroy the dam. The Ukrainians more than the Russians (after all, it is their infrastructure, and assuming they eventually drive the Russians out of Crimea it will be theirs to replace, but I digress.
It's possible it was simply the result of incompetent management of the dam and the impact of the conflict on that management. Have a look.
Ryan McBeth (yes, that's his real name) is a respected blogger and voice of sanity on military topics. OK, he's American and ex-military, so not everyone will respect him. But his body of work is impressive. He has debunked a lot of narratives about the Ukraine war, both pro- and anti-Ukrainian. Give this a watch.

here's an idea: seeing how most of the rest of us don't want to live under a murderous kleptocracy that fails miserably in most social metrics and displays complete disdain for the life and well-being of its own citizens, why don't you guys who do support it, just go and live there?
For I have absolutely no interest in arguing with you anymore. If you can't see with your own eyes that Russia is basically playing out the Nazi rule book to its bitter end and you still try to spin this as some kind of righteous war and invasion after all the atrocities that have happened and continue to happen, then you are simply beneath contempt.
simple: they have been told (and believe) democracy, specifically liberal democracy, is the issue that they should abolish
and that includes initiating violence, force and coercion on peaceful peeps
because justified (ends justify the means)
the west is code for the devil
messianic marxists don't tolerate the unbelievers
it is as if we've been invaded by a strange form of regressive earthly borg missionaries
and living under an authoritarian/autocrat?
usually i ask if they have ever had a conversation with anyone who has lived under one of these "systems"
i'm guessing not
just look at the people pouring across the borders of any pro-human country (aka voting with their feet)
they're fleeing those types of governments/dictatorships
risking life and limb and handing over their life savings to smugglers to get the chance of reaching a liberal democracy
My mind goes to that lovely Donovan lyric from the Scottish singerâs Zen enlightenment phase. Remember âThere Is a Mountain?â The famous lines went, âFirst there is a mountain/ Then there is no mountain/ Then there is.â
It's that neo-Nazi voodoo!
@NoEnzLefttoSplit: But they get paid so well...and you can't buy good stuff in Russia.

Yes, the US support for Ukraine might have reached it's peak, while the rest of the world just hasn't realized it yet. Meanwhile, the weapons industry has received a Xmas-gift like boost in their earnings (planned, or not), while most all of the western nations have been suffering economic damage, due to US sanctions imposed on Russia...
Be it as it may. - I'd be happy to not wake to the snow from atom bombs' fallout, as long as I (and my kids) have to live, over here in Europe.
