My one and only Mardi Gras memorable experience (everybody should go once. Twice, why bother?) was watching a cop indifferently watching a drunk until he pulled the tab on another beer and when it sprayed a couple of bystanders just a bit, the cop nonchalantly beat the shit out of the drunk and just left him crawling on the ground in misery. MG what a treat! NOLA, yeah, man.

I'm going to miss the usual celebration back at the Dublin Pub in Dayton, though....nobody does it like them.

One of those music posts down there says "Cajun Creole."Cajun is an offshoot of Acadian, the term for the refugees from Acadia, in Canada. That's one group of folks that make up the area.Creole is more African/French descent, but also is used to describe folks of African heritage born in Louisiana, particularly before it was purchased.
