the issue with these platforms isn't a free speech one, except to the point of protecting the platform's free speech rights. Instead the issue is one of data rights, how these platforms use our data.
Goddam conservative snowflakes if that's what gets you all riled up. I finally clicked on a link because you're persistent and there's not much wrong with what the guy said, except that he works for a company that's not supposed to take any side on any thing. So hey, nazis stormed the capitol? No, it's "trump supporters" at a rally.
The Right loves moral equivalency. Sure, we do bad things...but so do you...look, we'll prove it. One guy at PBS proves the mainstream media is biased!
There is enough stupid to go around: the left uses addition, and the right just happens to be better at multiplication.

National Public Radio is more than willing to give a platform to Trump and his associates. In interviews. Trump still has access to the White House press staff and can send all the press releases he wants to.
Stop the mindless talk of the homogeneous blob media.
BREAKING: Project Veritas tapes show @PBS Principal Counsel Michael Beller advocating for political violence.
âGo to the White House & throw Molotov cocktails...â

So he could if he would. Perhaps he won't as much. Next speech will perhaps take place in Alamo, celebrating his "great wall".

Freedom of speech clashing with private tech-oligarchies of power and censorship, globally. Scroll down for further OnTopic-ness, if you will, please.

That needs to be debated - and the media are just starting to form a public opinion on that. All divisiveness aside, is it right for such big tech oligarchies to exercise their power in the political realm the way they do? I remember the Arab Spring well. Do you? Civil unrest and mass killings have appeared in the past in Egypt, in India and Lord knows where in past years, due to FB and Twitter allowing unrest to happen, due to 'lack of censorship'. Just sayin'... An anti-thesis to your post would be to break up these big tech-monopolies, in order to keep their powers at bay, and within individual nations' legal frameworks. As of now, why would it be that the world can't hear from a sitting president (Trump) anymore, while the public US media refuse to give him a stage? Either speech is free, or... so the tech platforms should abide by national laws, regarding freedom of speech, and anti-terror laws. No? Interesting times ahead...
