I understand they're going to keep it in service for hauling rich folks eatin' in their fancy dining cars...

I heard they might haul some 5 mile long freight cars with it.
I'd be cool with either of them.

Very cool. But I doubt it is coming here. I did just just check and one of Australia's three major railway gauges (!) is the same though.

You might spot a guy among the white-T-shirt crowd of singers wearing a yellow hoodie under his white shirt, he's behind the leftmost speaker down in front. That's Kanye. He took the mic for about 12 seconds today, and played drums for one song. Free admission, no place to buy any souvenirs, no passing of the plate. Just an hour or so of gospel music, some classics and some retooled Kanye songs, plus a couple of larks, like this one.

A big outdoor gospel service at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West over in the next town. Yes, the "Sunday Service" program supported by Kanye West. Now I couldn't pick a Kanye West song out of a lineup and my knowledge of him begins with his 9/11 benefit show appearance and ends with him crashing Taylor Swift's party, BUT I have seen his appearance on Letterman's "My Next Guest..." and he's not an idiot and he is a thoughtful, considerate guy. So does that mean his public persona is an act? I think it's changing. I think he's coming to terms with a lot of things including a bipolar diagnosis. He's been dabbling in MAGA politics but when he talks about politics, it seems very shallow and spoon-fed, so even though he may not "wake up" the way I think he should, I do expect him to continue to grow.
