Just had all of mine yanked in September.  I've got temps but they are pretty much worthless.  Still living on Boost, creamy peanut butter by the spoonful, instant oatmeal, an occasional batch of instant mashed tater's and vito's.  And caffeine and nicotine, lots of that.  I have found that I can have Milky Way's now without any pain !  I can sorta squish them and melt them in my mouth and get them down. No more nuts.  I guess that I am almost now a vegan without trying.  I'd be gluten free if not for the oatmeal.  I'm not really missing solid food that much, actually.  Lost 40 lbs since.  I've bottomed out and stabilized at 175 lbs which is what I weighed in HS.  My back hurts less and my sciatica is being nice to me.  Have more energy than I've had in years. The only solid food I was able to manage with my temps is very well done broccoli, once.  Isn't worth it yet.

Boost is really easy to do. and the dishes are reeeaally easy to do.  The permanents are still six or nine months out when my mouth is fully healed.  That appears to be the key to getting good fitting dentures is the patience to wait.  And I'm $4500 lighter, up front in advance.  No dental with Medicare.  Maybe medi-cal ain't so bad when you look at how much you're not paying.

But more than anything the pain from sugar, hot and cold and sucking air the wrong way is now over.  And all of the poison my teeth were dumping into my system has ended.

Feel better, friendo.  It gets better !  {#Hug}

That and the last physical daily reminder of how bad the chemo tore up my body is gone after nearly 12 years of pain and embarrassment.

I’m on MA healthcare and I cant find a local dentist who takes that insurance. I can bite but not chew well myself, and my front teeth are now showing wear.

...you start fearing to re-post things, unknowingly.

Damn... if I only could remember...

...given the 5-minute attention span, the new media are granting these days, this forum doesn't exactly improve the situation through a more detailed categorization and overview of topics.

Instead, 'recent topics' are to choose from, mainly on the left side of the screen, and postings, older than 5 days or so disappear rapidly...  with no underlying categories visible, in general.

Older boards (such as php-bulletin) could be more helpful in this regard. But I'm not here to criticize. Just observing, and thankfully accepting...

I must have hit some hornets' nests inside of you. Sorry for that, it was purely unintentional. Would you care to graciously point out to me, what exactly got you triggered?
Should you care to oblige (which I doubt), I'd be open to exchanging personal stuff with you.

LOL!

Adobe has been signalling the death of Flash Player for a while now but funny all the same.

I keep hoping that Java is replaced by something else.   Does that me old?

Adobe Flash has been dead for at least a decade... anyway, since html-4 and -5 have been on, except for them uneducated users that could be milked (and get hacked and sucking malware, backdoors on their computers) further on... So stop pulling my leg here. It is not for Adobe, or any other company developing their own, proprietary standards to decide what happens to the web technologies applied by the masses. Although, I still keep wondering, why Microsoft Windows still seems to be in such a good "shape", as deduced from the numbers of users. You belong to the sheeple, too?

Remember, the VHS standard for video cassette players wasn't the best one available, either... but it was chosen to survive on the market, by the 'market'.

As for Java, it's a longer story. Most people still mix-up java and java-script... Java is an object-oriented programming language, and it really isn't so unique and has been known for many possible intrusions and hacks, most unfamously. Yet, it is still being used in a sheer unknown number of appliances, from smart home to automated driving software, as in dumb machines ought to be serving dumb tasks, no questions asked. (Until your self-driving car doesn't do, what it should be doing, and with high-severity security issues unfixed over decades, yet massively deployed by all kinds of industries, supplying the consumer market.)
Java script is much more easily exploited as a web-interfacing scripting language that opens countless more opportunities for your computer or smartphone to be exploited by any bad actors.

A good place to start getting a little more knowledgeable about such things in general would be  eff.org, or bleepingcomputer.com
