A legal, line-drawing thing: The father incurs potential obligations at conception, but no rights until birth.

Now, I am not advocating when I post that. The financial obligation and other responsibilities obviously are shared by the mother (and not necessarily equally), and those obligations do not, in my view, countermand the issue of bodily autonomy.

Sad to say that I sort of look forward to Weezie losing her hearing.

Time to replace 4th of July fireworks displays with drone displays.

Malcolm Magnesia. Then I find that it was a character created for a comic strip nearly a half century ago.

Was that you?

Yup I was thinking of that if the scrap guy is still there. I got a bunch of  aluminum window and door parts, and copper pipes around the house that would make one good trip.

It was lighter last night than the night before and the night before that and etc., will be that way for a few days past the first of July.
Daylight hours may be shorter (later sunrise) but light at the end of the day is later.
At least it is in my part of the world.
I noticed waiting for the drive in movie to start (decades ago) last week it was dark at 9:55 but after June 21 it's later.
4th of July fireworks same thing, dark before 10 on June 21, dark after 10 on July 4th.
