As originally conceived... ok, no more glory-hogging the thread. Somebody show us some pictures please, conceptual and/or otherwise...
Thanks for sharing these, brings back some great memories. The standing lamp you gave me (in the picture here in my bedroom off the living room) is now in my music studio in the basement, providing creative light as always! Hard to believe it was 10 years ago.
I think now I'll work on the gifts and refuse at the bottom and the active flaming char. Also I want to suspend a beautifully toned chime inside the wirework and attach a small fan to gently push it.
A couple more for Buddy. This thing is made from an old dress-form stand, tomato cages, 1/2" aluminum flat stock, various guages of aluminum and copper wire, copper automobile radiator cooling fins, recessed lighting baffles, pieces of an antique candelabra, wire, wire, and more wire, a metal phoenix rising with bubble lights under a Moravian star...
Thanks, brother....I'll never forget this tree, the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's such a joyous holiday memory watching you create this masterpiece in our living room, with Shiloh laying nearby.

So here's one with reflection and one of reflection. Trying to get more detailed pics up.
The storyline is that it evolved over the course of its 5 yr seasonal installation at this establishment. Santa had left some pretty amazing items added over the course of that time as well as approximately 200 flame bulbs around and through the items underneath and building upward with additional bubble lights at the top. The phoenix is lit more prominently and the Moravian star is still above.
Unfortunately my friends went out of business a couple of years ago so it's been in storage.
I missed the chance to shop it around this year of all years.
Anyhow I can't figure out how to post pics with this phone. That's the status quo...
