I read Denis Leary's wife's book An Innocent,  A Broad some time back. It recounts their experience having a premature baby in London, when he had a gig booked. I think that baby is now nigh on adulthood. Ann Leary also has a more recent novel.

Used to have the same problem with West Wing. I liked the way the characters were portrayed, although I didn't necessarily know what was going on. Maybe I will rent the earlier seasons to catch up.

My terrible televised crack-like addiction to this show resumes tonight. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it show up on Hulu. I've got to be working during the premiere on FX tonight. I guess I could just teach my online students the dialog instead of the basic English lessons I'm supposed to teach them...
