I'm listening through a Yamaha net-enabled receiver connected via ethernet (no Wifi) to my ADSL modem (about 1 Mbit/s upload and 10 Mbit/s download bandwidth).  I've been listening to RP for a couple of years with this setup and I've never had any issues until this problem started, maybe a month ago.  I have not noticed any problems with other (non-RP) streams over the same time period; actually, I'm sometimes forced to switch to the other options because of this problem. 

I'd be happy to try to provide more information if it can be useful.

Looking through the forum, this seems to be a recurring problem.  I'll post this as a separate thread in the hope that the underlying problem gets some better visibility.

My playback keeps freezing.  I am running on an IBM ThinkPad Carbon X1/Win10 Pro/Firefox and LG OLED/WebOS/built-in browser.  Internet is 200 Mbps cable, and both devices are hardwired so Wi-Fi is not a factor.

I don't have any problems with the Android app/Android Auto.

Sometimes a Stop/Start will give it a kick in the arse, but other times I have to do a Sync.

The freezes seem more frequent on the TV.  I wonder if it could be a timing issue that depends on the horsepower of the CPU.  Maybe something involving ACK/NAK's.
