Radio Paradise

We do that through Jive/SqueezePlay media server, all through the house, running on any devices with speakers. So, not direct though the RP site.

There's a sync function. Very nice.

My main stereo uses a Squeezebox Touch and I am running the server of a Synology NAS. I wonder if I pay to enable playback on iOS iPeng if I can enjoy this sync feature (though there will be latency streaming bluetooth)

You can sync our web player to what's playing on one of our apps — or another instance of the web player — as long as you're logged into the same RP account, or are on the same WiFi network. Just click 'Sync' and select the app from the sync menu.

We don't currently have a way to sync multiple app instances to each other. We'll be adding that at some point.

You can, however, select 'Sync to Web Stream' on the app (on iOS that's on the Playlist menu — the one that defaults to 'RP Main Mix' at the bottom of the screen — and it's under 'PSD' on the current Android app). If you do that on multiple app devices, they should be more or less in sync with each other.

Notice that I say 'more or less'. Syncing in this way is not anywhere nearly as precise as what you get with Sonos, Bluesound, or Airplay2 devices. Something like that is the only way to go if you want truly synchronized multi-room audio.
