We don't send that as part of the song title. It's an entirely separate field. Winamp is choosing to tack it on to the end of the song title. The change we made a couple of weeks ago is a switch from using SHOUTcast servers as our stream sources to using a more modern server (Icecast - which we'd been using as our public stream relays for quite some time). For lots of reasons, we won't be going backwards on that. Sorry it broke your plug-in. If the author is still around (doubtful, but possible), they could easily fix that.
