I know this topic is a couple of years old, and so is the "new" site, but I really hate the new site. I resisted using it for a long time, but have been using it for the past week, and pretty much hate it. Thanks for keeping the legacy site online, Bill. I'll be using that for as long as it's available.

Copying the URL seems to be the best way. I wrote this in the "Bug Reports" thread last week in response to a similar question -

I've found it's best to right-click the image and copy the URL (or "image address") and then just paste it in your post. You can resize it by dragging a corner of the image and by right-clicking it you get an option to edit the image (align left or add a URL). Copying the URL seems best because dragging the image from another site carries over whatever formatting and style commands may be on the source page, so you may get some large, unnecessary margin around the image or large-size height and width specifications (which happens in the "Counting" thread sometimes). Also, a lot of sites contain images which no longer have conventional image-type suffixes (jpg, gif, png) A lot of them have odd extensions like gifv, webp, which the RP editor cannot render sometimes.

Hitting "Preview" before "Submit" is essential, since not all images, due to restrictions of the image server may apply. This way, you can find out if the image "holds" in a post. Otherwise you have to delete that image post afterwards.

Thanks. Still very much a work in progress, but we're pretty pleased with it as well.

Very much enjoying the new site and the better sound quality with FLAC. I guess the files of tracks is still work in progress but it would be great to have a few more artists included in the Mellow Mix, there are many artists I should like to see represented.
