I think the reason it didn't previously work for me is that if you already have a page open with the extended info through the full website and then go to the "now playing" page, clicking on the album cover doesn't work. If you start off by going straight to the "now playing" page then it does spawn a new page with the extended info.

I will save a bookmark to my iPhone home screen in place of the app. In fact the page I will save is the extended info page

We'll be rolling out some site enhancements soon that are specifically aimed at this circumstance.

I'll also consider adding that functionality into the current app — but my preference would be to have the website fill that function.

If you want to see anything else you have to scroll down to the bottom of the screen, click on "Switch to our desktop website", go to the full site, zoom into the page to make it big enough to be able to click on Music, then you get a list.

This is also necessary if you want to see anything other than the bare information of the track name, album and artist. This includes not being able to see comments or to make comments.

I'm afraid that I honestly don't find it anything like as convenient or useful as the original app was, that worked brilliantly in this regard. I wish that functionality could be in the new app.

Most of my RP listening these days is on an internet Radio, or Amazon Echo. I would love to have a "RP companion" function in the app that complemented non-display playback devices well.

With the old (v2?) RP app (on iOS) you could find out what track was playing and check details on it, and on previously played tracks, without the stream playing. I used to use this all the time when listening on various internet radios around the house.

With the new one (currently at v6.0.10), you can't do anything at all if the stream is stopped. I would seriously love it if it were possible to use the app as a display-only device for getting info, commenting and so on. Any chance of this?
