With the caching - can you find the playlists?- if I am using the streaming feature and forget the name of a song I can always look it up on the playlists (after I do a bit of a calculation for time zones) I'm presuming that the cached music comes from 1 of your playlists, but does it come from the playlist around the time you download the cache or some other time - or if the song order independent of the playlists? - cheers John from Australia

Another try was given... Exact same playlist. Am I the only one?? I'm going to experiment with different lengths of caches, but if anyone has experienced this or has suggestions I'm all ears. This has taken U2 from a band I was not all that fond of, but tolerated, to one, if I hear these songs one more time I'm going postal!!! JUst kidding. I realize that in today's world ... well enough said.

Yes, you are indeed the only one — as far as I've heard, anyway.

Please contact me via email (bill@radioparadise.com) with as many details as you can.

Well, as you might guess, that is *not* how that's supposed to work.

We've had some server issues the past few days. Though what could cause that particular problem, I have no idea.

Give it another try.

Cache Pt. II
After using the cache feature, I felt even though I had several hours of cache it was looping the same material within an hour or 2- a lot of U2 (not my favorite band) I mean a lot.
Current playlist- U2 California, U2 Song for Som..., Beethoven, U2 This is Where..., Mozart, U2 Cedarwood R..., U2 The Troubles, U2 Every Breaki..., Pink Floyd, U2 Iris, U2 Iris, U2 Raised by Wolves, U2 The Miracle, Pink Floyd, U2 Volcano— You get the drift.
Even if I loved U2  this is overkill. I deleted the cache twice and downloaded again. Same outcome/playlist. Is it me or can I download a non-U2 greatist hits collection in cache?
thanx

thats the whole point no connectivity required so it must be on you harddrive right

You must have misunderstood something — or someone posted some misinformation. Using the cache feature does take up storage space on your device.

Great feature!! I was not aware of it until I was driving across the country in my wife's car. Hadn't synced my phone to it until late in the trip. After I did, plugged the phone in and to my surprise started playing RP. Just figured out the cache manager and looking forward to more RP for trip back.

Bill answered me directly but for anyone also wanting to know....The RP app (RP 3.0 ..white logo artwork in Apple App Store)— not the older one that's also available):  click the 'cloud' icon & adjust the cache length to your desired value. You can also select 'WiFi Only' so that your phone will load the cache only when connected via WiFi.

I just started work at a place that has no wifi (for me) and 1 bar cell reception, not enough for radio streaming. So the absolute BEST feature of the RP app is the storage cache. I set it to Max (6 hours) while I'm getting ready for work. In 10 minutes it's full. I can listen to RP all day long... even in Airplane Mode... excellent! Bravo, for coming up with this feature.
