I wonder if they could fit in a sensor that looks for blood in the stool and tells you to get checked for bowel cancer. I know that in the US older people with healthcare get periodic colonoscopies but here the system relies on periodic checks of samples. In theory, the US system nips polyps in the bud, so to speak, but I haven't seen any study of whether it is actually more effective.

the US system does both, colonoscopies and stool samples by mail

smart toilets are coming and there are plans to brings massive amounts of sensors around practically everything

in biology we are digitizing and piggybacking on computing/moore's law

exponential tech will continue to increase the precision, speed and availability of healthcare while dropping the price dramatically

diagnosis and treatment at stage zero is literally here (which is the goal)

folks can get up to speed on this tech very easy now

simple as paying attention (reading and listening to podcasts, interviews with technologists, analysts, etc.)

one example that i've posted here and that i'm excited about is liquid biopsy (blood)

some really smart people think that it will probably leapfrog some of the stuff being explored now

big picture/trend: healthcare = easy, ubiquitous, affordable and managed by big tech

longevity will increase (which magnifies the challenges in social security, pensions, retirement, etc,)

regards

Here be the one that comes in white and light coloriños...

It looks fanny-tastical on the 'silver' and heather grey as well as white.
Plus these are the premium shirts.
