yeah, RR is intimidating. I always fall apart bouncing off those shrooms in shroom gorge...and that's on an easy level? Toads factory is a tough one too.

alright...that's three....plenty more track for more..........

See, I LOVE the bouncy mushroom level... the factory is fun since I figured out the 'tricking' thing, w/ all it's little jumps...

OK, so I finallly dug up my sheet w/ all my Wii stuff: Here's our MarioKart code: 2793 1916 9036

Woohoo! I'm up for it!

I'm stuck at work this minute and I'll pass on my friends code later. I'm addicted to the racing, although I haven't figured out the right vehicle.

Everyone's using their Mii's, RIGHT?

My faves are Peach Gardens, Delfino Square, and Sherbet Land. But, if I'm playing with noobs, I vote for Rainbow or Maple Tree. My son has figured out some cheats, but I have yet to learn them. Mostly short cuts.

Excellent.

I use a Mii, and I'm on a motorbike...either the third of fourth down the list.

You can get different karts and bikes by changing the 'weight' of your Mii.....So my "Steven Wilson" look-a-like Mii has a real fat ass (that way I get a bigger bike. I don't know if that's the best strategy, but I've won a race or two.

   Mii, and my PorcupineT

If you are a Wii user and a MarioKart racer, then your kart drivers license has a code on it.

Post your code here, when we're both on line, we can have a race. Imagine 12 RPers, going for it on Rainbow Road....could be fun!
Here is my code
4768-9239-9540

(each user has to enter the other users code as Friends, then we can set up a private race.)

My character is Mii created, it's a Steven Wilson look-a-like named PorcupineT.
Start your engines....

Any track BUT Rainbow Road...I despise that one!

Hmmm...

Tis the season to go get one!

The on-line racing is so fun. There can be up to 12 in a race, there is a point system (you start at 5000, can max out at 9999....I hover around 7000), tournaments, friend/regional/world rankings...Its a blast.

In addiction.....I mean addition to MarioKart, the Wii in general is pretty damn cool, a lot more entertaining than the traditional hand controller systems.  It's funny as hell watching someone play the latest Link-Zelda game using the controller nunchuck style as if they have a sword and shield in their hands.

The On-Line "all-play" system is included with all the best games (Madden, Tiger, NHL, NBA, MarioKart...). We could even have a Radio Paradise Madden league.

Plus...making your own "Mii" characters is quite fun too.

The system is not without a hiccup or two. Staying connected or getting connected can be troublesome at times (It could be my overloaded router though).

I've been a gamer since Mattel's Intellevision, and all-around Wii is the coolest system I've played with.

Dad tested, Santa approved!

Cheers
