I just got excellent presale tickets for Roger Waters performing The Wall in its entirety at The Staples Center in L.A. (I'm not even going to say what I paid for them, but I wasn't going to miss this concert) What can I say, I want to go to the show. I want to feel the warm thrill of confusion, that space cadet glow. Now I just have to wait till the end of November.
Got mine for NY in October....and he just added about a dozen more dates.

Nice! Yes, I missed out on presale for the first Staples show, but luckily they added a second one.

"Scruffy and scratched Americana that recalls Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and early Springsteen" - Time Out London
"The Felice Brothers' Catskills folk is rough around the edges and intoxicating. Ryan Adams, eat your heart out" - Metroland
"Backwoods Americana is all the rage, but this band of brothers is a cut above the rest" - The Sun UK
“You won’t find more American music than that of the Felice Brothers. With their wheezing accordions, broken-down pianos, flinty acoustic guitars and creaky vocals, the brothers capture the history — and mystery — of rural America.” - New York Daily News
Best country/folk/roots/ band in the world right now. When they get it right, it's life changing stuff. Wish I could be there. Glad they're playing this year's end of the road festival.
As I recall, she and Eric reportedly had a "thing," although there is nothing about this in his biography.
Past Crossroads events included Susan Tedeschi. As for gender-specifics, most guitar gods happen to be guys. Don't know why he couldn't invite, say, Kaki King or K T Tunstall. There's also another female guitarist played on RP whose name escapes me; she goes by a single name (starting with "S") and uses unusual tunings.
...and there's Orianthi or Jennifer Batten; but Sheryl Crow?! about as average, every-day strummer as you can get....doesn't make too much sense to have her in the line-up....except for this "thing" they might've had.

Truthfully, I am not into the Guitar Hero thing. I prefer the heavy metal drummers, Shiny, shiny pants and bleached-blond hair, A double kick drum by the river in the summer
